If you just want to race right away, a battery charge will last you about 15 minutes. Slowing down makes it last longer.
Hello, Normally, it takes approximately 2 hours. Charging time is 3 hours.
Although there are no preset speeds, the remote controls allow you to go slowly if you so desire. You're correct about the battery life, and the remote will alert you when it runs out. This is a fast little boat that my 10-year-old grandson enjoys, and the fact that it comes with two batteries means you can play with it for a long time.

This is my third, and the first to have a short life; we ran it once, and the prop shaft plastic coupler split, leaving the boat without power to the propeller. I'm a little disappointed because we received two for vacation and now my son and I have to share. They've been a lot of fun overall. There should be two blue and one red in your collection. The red had finally broken through. My older blue one served me well for more than a year, which was all I could ask for given that it was used in saltwater.
It's a lot of fun for the kids. It's quick and capable of traveling long distances. I'm not sure how far it can go, but it can go as far as the boat is visible. br>Thank you for including an extra battery with the product. Each fully charged battery can last approximately 20 minutes of playtime. Some reviews stated that it would not turn right or left, but this is not the case for us. br>Just watch out for the algae in the pond's water, or your boat will become stuck.
Only turns left, won't turn right; I adjusted the trim in the settings, as well as the rudder position with the pin; oh well, I'm mostly driving it in the pool, which is a circle anyways; and there it is.
I've emailed them multiple times and tried calling them for support with no response, which is unfortunate because it was a lot of fun, but due to poor handling on their part, I doubt I would buy it again.
After the first use, water seeped in through the cracks. I needed to get back to work as soon as possible.
The boat fills up with water, and the batteries only last ten minutes. This product has let me down.
This is a fun remote control boat that moves quickly but easily breaks. It wouldn't drive straight after a day or two.
The locking nut was still in place, but the prop had broken apart, and the second prop had been cracked.
