I'm not sure what the st stands for, but I do know it's not a stop. I believe it has something to do with the fact that you can right it if it flips over on its top.

This is an impressive vessel. The control is tight, and the vehicle is lightning fast and turns on a dime. It has a very sharp appearance, comes with two long-lasting batteries, and has been a lot of fun for my son. I would strongly suggest it. br>I noticed that a couple of the reviewers were unaware that the spare battery is located in the boat's battery compartment and that the boat must be in the water in order for it to turn on.
When we finally got to play it on a nearby lake, my son fell in love with it. It's quick and easy to maneuver. The distance between the remote control and the device is considerable. I wish the propeller was thicker so it wouldn't get stuck in the leaves as easily. During the first sailing, we had two instances where it became stuck. Fortunately, we were able to pull it out of the bind. When it became stuck for the second time far from the shore, my son was on the verge of crying. br>The only genuine criticism is that the instruction booklet was unclear about how to get started. For a brief moment, I mistookly believed that we needed to put the lubricant in before the first use, but I soon realized that it was simply a maintenance instruction. It would be nice if it were stated clearly.
Adults and children alike will find it simple to use. Here are a few examples:
- Fast – On Amazon and on the box, RC manufacturers frequently exaggerate their speed claims. This boat is said to travel at 20 miles per hour, and I would agree that it does.
- Great handling and responsiveness – The boat responds quickly to throttle and steering inputs and turns on a dime; it can turn so sharply that you'd think it'd flip over at high speeds, but it hasn't so far thanks to the rudder and rear fins. A flip over recovery maneuver is described in the manual, and it's useful to know.
- Easy to use – My eight and six-year-old sons quickly figured out how to operate the remote.
- Battery warning – We like RC cars, and if an RC battery dies unexpectedly, you can just walk up to it and grab it, but I was concerned about running out of power while the boat was far away from us in the water. Thankfully, there's a bright blue blinking battery alert light that lets you know when it's time to head back to shore before the battery runs out.
- Water- This is pretty cool: a cooled engine. I was concerned about overheating because RC motors dislike heat, and a boat motor in particular has to work hard pushing the propeller against water, so I was concerned about overheating, but this boat has water-resistant components. cooling, which sounds like something you'd only find on a boat that costs a lot more. A small tube suckers water from beneath the boat, then runs inside the boat, coiling around the motor several times before exiting out the side, carrying the heat with it. We put a lot of power into it, and the motor didn't even get warm.
- A sensor on the boat's bottom detects whether it is in or out of the water, which is a safety feature. It will only operate the boat if it is submerged in water, preventing my children from using the propeller in the middle of a storm. a buzz in the air saw. This is a fantastic thought.
- We get about 8 hours out of two batteries. Each battery takes 10 minutes to charge.
- The lid fits very snugly and securely with four latches to clamp it down, and there's another lid over that, so the motor, ESC, and servo were all completely dry after use. br>br>Overall, we like this boat a lot and are very impressed with its performance and quality, especially for the price. DEERC's customer service is known to be excellent, so that's an added bonus.
It was nice not to have to deal with any screws on the boat to insert the battery because setup was fairly simple. Despite the fact that I needed a screwdriver to open the remote control's battery compartment (and promptly misplaced the screw), The boat has no power switch; it detects when it is submerged and turns on, already paired with the remote. br>br>Forward acceleration is incredibly quick, and rear power is so strong that it almost submerges the boat in water, but this was not a problem. The rudder is easy to maneuver, and the controls are adjustable (unlike RC cars, which only have a "turn left" or "turn right" switch). ) We filmed this in our 12-foot-diameter pool to show how sharply the boat can turn. The trim adjustments can be used to reduce the throttle range, but it compensates by idling the motor at various speeds, so if trimmed, it will not sit still when idle. br>br>In the one photo of the remote, you can see an LCD display that shows the status of the controls, including a power percentage display. Unfortunately, the steering and throttle controls share the same percent indicator, which can be confusing, but the remote appeared to be solid and smooth to operate. br>br>Overall, this is a fantastic first RC boat for young hobbyists!.
I was able to use it right away. Well-made and quick. Perhaps a little too quickly for my pool. I believe it would look fantastic in a pond. It turns like a regular boat (and thus must be moving). I could swim in circles in my pool. On a pond, it should be double the fun.
The battery lasted for an extended period of time! It comes with two batteries, which should be sufficient for us to play for the duration of our stay. Also, the speed is incredible! My son was ecstatic to play with the boat, and he kept asking to go back after we were done. This is a fantastic opportunity for us to get outside in the midst of the pandemic. It helps me feel better to spend some time with the kid in an open space. br>This RC boat comes highly recommended!.
