Timothy. If you know a lot about electronics, I'm sure it'll be a breeze. Otherwise, I don't think it was designed to be controlled by anything other than the included remote.
A website for purchasing boat parts is included in the package that the boat arrived in. In reality, it was just a URL. The little boat was a lot of fun and very fast, so it's not surprising that it broke down after about six rides in the water. It was entertaining to play with, but it was so cheap that I would recommend purchasing a new one if you have any problems!

You'll get around ten 15-minute runtime (thank goodness there's a lake nearby!). The remote will alert you when the battery is running low so you can return to shore. I would definitely recommend this RC boat if you're looking for something fast! We're going to order a second battery so we can spend more time at the lake each time! Having a good time while staying within your budget br>br>After reading some of the other reviews, I believe it is important to note that once the battery is charged, the boat MUST BE IN THE WATER TO WORK! When you turn it on outside of the water, it will beep at you constantly, as if it were broken. It can't function without water!.
I bought it for my son, and after three uses in the pool, the rudder stopped working. It's no longer useful, and there's no way to get it to work. The battery life is approximately 5 to 8 minutes. I'm not going to buy these crappy toys again because they're a complete waste of money.
I had planned on getting at least two months out of this. As far as I'm aware, you get what you pay for. It didn't even give me three full charges. It didn't turn left very well out of the box, but it turned right beautifully. So, if you have a pool and want to make circles in it for an hour, this is the boat to have. Due to the fact that they did not make it, I did not contact the seller. I threw the box away, knowing it would only be useful for a short time. I just didn't expect it to be so short; cardboard would have been a better toy.
I charged it up and tossed it into the swimming pool. It was as if I were a child all over again. It's fast, and if you make a very sharp turn, you can make it "submarine dive," which I thought was really cool. It is a big hit with the kids. It's possible that more will join the race around the pool. Definitely enjoyable.
This was a Christmas present for my 11-year-old grandson. My son sent me a message stating that it had begun to malfunction. They didn't keep the box it came in, so I'm placing another order and hoping this isn't a boat defect. I wasn't sure if I could return it if the box wasn't included. They are from a different part of the country. My grandson adored this boat, and I'm disappointed. Thank you.
It's best suited to small ponds or large pools. It's fairly quick, though it could use more power and runtime if you have a large lake bayou, but for the price, I believe it's a good deal. I think it's worth the money now; the more batteries, the better for less downtime; a larger battery may be an option, but I'm not sure how it'll run and for stability with a larger battery. A small amount of water got into it through the rubber on the steering rod. There's nothing to be concerned about. It has a good range.
I knew what I was getting myself into when I bought this boat, which has a lot of issues and dislikes turning left. This, I believe, is due to the prop being too large, causing it to torque roll to the right and limiting the boat's ability to turn left. The electronics are shoddy, and it's a pain to have to submerge it in water to test things when trying to repair it. However, the hull is very nice, and I believe it is worth the 44 dollars I paid. Cheerwing customer service is excellent, and they sent me a brand new boat! From now on, they'll be where I get my "cheap hobby grade rc's. ".
The raucous rc boat was everything I had hoped for and more. The boat is about the same length as my foot and about the same width as my ankle. The instructions were simple to follow, with pictures describing what each button on the remote did in English. br> Holding the boat's remote in one hand and the directions in the other was surprisingly easy. br> The boat performed better than expected. The small boat's controller has a correcting action that flips it back over if you capsize it. If you're going to use it near a river where people are fishing, wear sunscreen because the UV rays can be harsh. If the fish aren't biting, have some fun with this remote control boat. You'll be able to smile as a result of it.
