Because only the leading edge and center section of the original wing were damaged, they will work in my case. br>Be prepared to re-order these wings if you order them. Almost every part on the wing should be used or replaced. The wings, the center plastic cap, two aileron control horns that must be installed, and some screws are included with the new wings. The wire channel tape on the bottom of the wing, to be precise. Everything else will have to be repurposed from the old wings and installed on the new ones. After seeing the picture, I had a feeling this was going to be the case, but I just wanted to make sure for those who aren't sure what the wings entail. br>Be ready to relocate the carbon fiber tube inside the wings, the vortex generators (plastic strips on the top of the wing), servos, control rods, and other components, as well as install everything on the new wings.
but. Generally of good quality, but, as is common with so much made overseas these days, a perfectly good replacement kit is hampered by literally 5 cents worth of plastic. One of the aileron horn sets was defective, and it took some time and ingenuity to get it working again. The white 'L' shaped adhesive material that covers the servos and wire channel foam was also not very tacky and didn't stick very well. The solution was discovered, but it took far longer than I had anticipated. Overall, the wings are straight and the hinges are secure, so my Cub should be able to fly again soon.
The wing is of excellent quality.
