You have the power to do things you never thought you could. The spur gear is used in this application. There's not much to say about it, really. For the Slash 4x4, this is the only one you need unless you have the spur gear setup. A spur gear such as this is NOT necessary if you are running the center differential.

I upgraded the rear mount on my Slash 4x4 motor but did not upgrade the front There was a problem with the motor and it began to pull this gear away. I replaced the aluminum rear mount with a new gear and it was in good condition. The original was around for so long I can't believe it.
