Although I am not able to measure any right now, I can report that all parts of the gear portion are the same width as my summit and trx-sized vest. In the case of the gear with 4 spurs, they have a chamfered edge that is perhaps 1mm wider.
Hardened steel is what they are.

1 of these was used to strip out 3 spur gears. My first spur broke, so I thought there may be a mesh problem. My second spur stripped, so I went through the drive looking for bad bearings or loose screws. A couple things were shimmied up and new bearings were installed. Third stripped spur, you have got to be kidding me (now I'm furious). Out loud, I took the motor out and carefully examined the gear mesh. These gears do not mesh properly (yes, I am using the correct type of gear, but this is not my first time using radio controlled vehicles). In addition to gas, nitro, and electric models, I have over 20. If you want to purchase good quality pinion gears, do yourself a favor. Spend less time and money on headaches, down time, and repair cost. Robinson Racing pinion gears can be purchased at Robinson Racing.

I actually had to double the normal gap to the spur gear to make these roll smoothly since the machined parts aren't all that good. They make a lot of noise and are a bit rough compared to my other pinions. The spur gears will be worn out quicker since they will be subjected to The imperfections in mine might be smoothed out by buffing.
It works well and has never caused a problem. This is good enough to work for the government despite somewhat off diameter. I mounted it on my Trx4 with an 1/8 scale motor without any slips, trips, Has not even come loose and has not been tacked down at all.
So far I've had no issues with them and considering they are just the price of one or two of the other brands, they're a good deal. It has never been a problem for me to order different sizes from the same manufacturer.
Those were the ones I bought for my Redcrap TR/MT10E to run a 3S lipo, they worked fine, but I needed the By using a higher toothed gear, my Redcrap is more likely to not wheelie all the time and accelerate smoothly.
Offering a great deal of variety
Gives me choices.
The gears would not mesh properly if it had a meshing value of 0, for example. I however used it in my crawler and it worked great.
