What do I think about it? Have I been satisfied? I am and I am not. In short, yes. Would I recommend this to my family and friends? There is no. In any case, this informed me what I need to do in order to stop doing damage to my motors. My purchase went smoothly, so I'm okay with it.
It does what I asked it to do and can't expect much more.
I use metal gears for my RC application because they work very well.
This is a much smaller sized than we were expecting and therefore could.
The best upgrade for the 104001 buggy from WL Toys! There is a significant difference in speed when I went to a 28 or 29 tooth gear, the 26T made a difference when I used a 26T pinion I just want a little bit I just wanted to say it. I am not sure if these will mesh with the 144001 or the 124019 spurs, could they? Neither I nor anyone else in my family has ever tried it. There are no burs or blemishes in the construction! They all came with the grub screws, just dab some Loctite 242 on them and you're good to go! In case more are needed, I will be getting more out of it These gears are the best I've found so far!
The stock pinion in the 104001 has a 22T ratio. A weak person. This is especially true considering that it is supposed to be 550 horsepower. A 540 is what it is. I have to say I am disappointed right from the start Then you rip it on full throttle and are disappointed even more with the low speed of the car! You'll love it if you get a Hobby Wing 1080 ESC, a better TX/RX, and a bigger pinion. I am hereby giving 10/10 for the following reasons Be mindful of the fact that each tooth is more stressful on the motor if you choose a larger pinion. You'll start overheating if you put too much stress on the motor. You can use lithium grease for the gears. Just smear it all over the mesh and you're good to go. You can also use a piece of paper to get the right mesh by jamming that between the spur and pinion. After that, make sure all of your body is covered in lithium.
