My teenage son asked for one of these for Christmas, and we got it for him! Although I did not know what to expect, I was delighted with the experience. What a cool thing! I have never seen an rc car with this much range that just goes back and forth. In a way, this goes in the opposite direction! As you move from side to side. This is a turn (left to right)! Should one decide not to work, you still have an extra! This made me very happy, since I am sure it will last a long time! After my son popped the batteries in and turned it on, the device made a beep beep sound and I didn't hear anything else. As he raced the car around the house, he became increasingly frustrated. The kids are chasing the animals, and we are chasing the kids! It was also a big hit for all the nieces and nephews that came over for Christmas dinner. It was like wild animals fighting over it! I am very glad I paid the cost for this! The likes of these I've never seen or heard of before. I thought it was really cool, and my son was thrilled when he received I was surprised at how great the quality of this RC car was! There's quite a bit of weight to it! It is not lightweight in the slightest. I would give this item five stars, as the material used was of excellent It's effortless, smooth and at high speed to roll the wheels. The hardwood beats the concrete, the lawn and the grass! This was my son's favorite toy! He played with it everywhere! ****If you look closely at the wheels, you will find that they are a thick clear glossy material similar to silicone (I believe) There are individual wheels in those red things. Together, they move to make it go sideways and in traditional forward and back directions. Quite a bit of noise is being generated. However, it is compatible with the energy radiating from this. Start playing with it and you'll soon discover how much fun it can be. Noise from the kids gets so loud that it doesn't matter - it I have a few recommendations if you need a cool but not overpriced kid's car. (4 is something I really want to add ), then this is one you won't regret watching! The best part about buying this as a gift is that you don't have to worry about how they will respond to it. There is no reason why it wouldn't appeal to a wide audience. It was because my 1 year old grandson and my 3 year old nephew were a little scared that I suggested starting with age 4.
