Axial products have always met my expectations, and I have had other products from As is the case with all of them. In my opinion, it works great, it is ready to use out of the box with no issues, and it looks great! I find it works really well on the stones I'm driving it on, and it looks really nice doing so. There is no doubt that I'm satisfied with this product, and I recommend.
I gave this gift to an 11-year-old who is devastated by the experience. I have updated. A new battery was sent to me by the company! Now that things are back to normal, we can start working again. This kid seems to be in a great mood. Spending hours playing with it, he spends a lot of time playing with this slow-moving It seems like he sets up all kinds of obstacle courses and drives this truck over and over again through all sorts.
The stock version is good looking as well as performing well. With only 12 hours left of the 12-month period, I had already made my own lift kit to relocate the coilovers to under the frame, and I also glued lead pellets to the rim in order I had ordered a 1/20 scale 1997 Chevrolet Jimmy 4dr similar to the one I used to own before it was delivered. Ultimately, this thing is a blast and it gets better the more you modify it, but be careful, you might spend $100s on modifications before you get it just right.
I gave it two stars because the battery charger is defective. Also, I reached out to the seller who is Horizon Hobby and asked them to send Despite repeated attempts to contact me, they never did. Thus, you can't count on a good customer service. My rating has been elevated to four stars from two. It was sent to me as a replacement charger by the seller. I'm very impressed with how fast the truck is and how much torque it has for a small vehicle. Here is a pic of a truck playing over a course I made with Lava rocks. I found a bag of them for $4 at Home Depot, and you can see different articulations.
My first surprise was to see that the tx package had been opened before I took Red flags went up for me in this situation. After carefully examining the truck, we found two things wrong with it. It's a complete mess from the front bumper to the body, and one of the rear shocks sticks out when any compression is applied to In both cases it is repairable, so I decided to check, charge, check, and install the battery and see how it works. The vehicle can go forward and reverse but does not steer. It seems the steering servo and trim work, but the steering wheel does not transmit any input. This is probably due to a poor solder job on the TX. There was no way I would sign that. Horizon Hobby sent me someone else's return, I am sure of it. They make several planes and 6-channel helicopters that I love, so I am a little sad. No more of my time is worth expended on this item. Packaging it and returning it is not worth the effort. This is a lesson to be This is another part for the parts bin. I don't recall ever experiencing this problem with any of my 7 Traxxas trucks.
There are three of these trucks in the garage for the grandkids. It has been no problem at all for two of them. In the newest one, though, the motor burnt out after just 13 days. Within an hour, the Horizon Hobbies customer service rep was able to get me a new replacement motor. The steering and speed control on these trucks are excellent, and the overall look is There is no way you could get a better deal.
If you drive this nonstop and force your way out of a bind the motor will burn, but if you are careful it will last for a long time.
It was necessary to adjust the body anchor points so that the tires would clear the body when the front tires were turned to the left or right upon arrival of the truck. This was then followed by the little truck being able to be used. It was fun to drive for thirty minutes straight, and I used the steering and throttle inputs constantly to climb obstacles, etc. It is quite expensive for such a small "toy", but it appears to be well built and quite controllable (Throttle).
