It is unbreakable. These are awesome and last for a long time. Besides having cool LED lights, it flips and spins and does unbelievable tricks that will make you go wow. It is more fun to watch me drive it than my five year old son, who got it for me. When you have 2 joysticks, it's hard to control the car in the right direction, but not impossible. Yet this thing was meant to do tricks, not to run a straight line, and the tricks are unlike anything I have seen in my life. You should check it out. The battery life may last up to 8 years There are two batteries inside and one is for 10 minutes and the other comes with two extras. Despite this, I didn't have as much fun as I do with my other RC toys since I never burned the batteries at the same time. It will take me a long time to use up the batteries in some of my vehicles, so I have five. The price is good. I can see it being a great gift because it's unique, and I don't think you could break it with all your might. This is why it is great for young boys and their dads.

To continue having fun for an extended period of time, you need an extra battery. A small screw driver is all that is needed to open the rc car door. There are bumps in this car so I believe it was designed that way. When I took the battery out of the box, it was slightly charged. As far as the rest of it goes, it was easy to assemble.
