A cover is attached to the penknife. It fits over it but, according to my experience, it is not very snug.
The label does not contain a number. In my estimation, the black is between 400 and 500 With the white at 2000 or higher and the black at 600
The quality of the product is very good. Though I have not used the other things yet, due to the fact that I have not yet tried the nippers.
The answer is yes. The knife is mostly intended to cut apart parts. I feel bigger cutters are better suited to cutting full sprue, but it is still possible with these machines.

My customer service representative has been contacted and we are working together to resolve the issue.
I suppose that the saying "you get what you pay for" applies. In my purchase of this kit, my primary reason was for the knife - I could not locate my old Xacto and wanted to get a new one. I find the handle to be very light and flimsy, despite being functional. My guess is that it will work just fine, but it is not as nice as other similar products I've used. The blades themselves are dull, which is even worse. That's all there is to it. There will be citations, but it will not be without a lot of pressure. The razor is not up to the standard- Disposable hobby blades have the sharpness you expect from them. Because of this, I am back on Amazon shopping for (brand name) replacements today. I may be biased, but I think the cutters and tweezers are the best in this There are now more fine tweezers for me, and I'm grateful for them. They are not bad at all. The cutters are just as good. The components that earn the three-star rating are listed below. Unless the kit was one or two stars, it would have been zero or one. I was a bit disappointed with the rest of the stuff inside the box. It is far too coarse and small to be used for fine work, and too coarse for fine work. The paper will be thrown away. It's fine to use the emery boards, but I already had all kinds of emery boards, sand paper and more, so I won't need In any case, it comes in a nice plastic case, so at least I'll have a place to keep the knife and blades that I purchase.
The kit I purchased included every piece of material I needed for assembling my first model, except paint, glue, and decal solution. It was convenient to have everything delivered at the same time since I was starting from scratch. As of this writing, I only used curved tweezers, slices, and pliers since I didn't need to sand much, but I was glad to have the sanding instruments available just in case. There was no need to buy more than I needed because the price was low enough. As a result, I didn't suffer from the same problems I observed in other reviewers, who complain that their kits appear used or worn. It all arrived in great condition and now I have actually added a few items to my kit, such as paint brushes, so I can keep it all together. The fact that it is so cheap made it a must-have in my opinion. My first experience with model building was made easy with this product.
I would recommend it for those just starting out, but as a more experienced modeler, it is so cheap it is unusable. *1.
* 2) Tweezers bend easily* 3. 2) Sanding stick tears at a minimum amount of usage. *B. *B. 3. the xacto blade tips break when cleaning parts or cutting cardboard, styrene, etc. I recommend this kit for a beginner starter kit, since it is so cheap (under $10) but for more advanced builders, it is not suitable. There is simply no point to it.
I used to make templates and have to work with files every day back when I was a template maker. My intention was to use this kit to work on plastic models, so since I got it, I've been enjoying it. As for the storage box, I like it quite a lot, and I've used the scissors and I like them a lot. There is enough length in the jaws to reach even those hard to reach pieces on spruce trees. At some point, we'll need to use the sanding boards. While I'm building models and doing research, I like some of the tools I've got. Although I have seen some reviews where the kit was not well liked, I've had no problems with mine and, in fact, I have moved some of my frequently used tools into the box simply because it is small and the other tool boxes occupy a lot of space on my limited workspace. This kit is very good for me.
I used both with my first ever Warhammer 40K order (a T'au Empire set, plus some extra detachments' worth of models), and was not disappointed. I have used some of the EMORY boards, and they aren't exactly top notch, but, do their job in removing a few There was no mess in the box, and it had even been sealed and wrapped. Thanks so much for these tools! I look forward to my next build with them!.
The problem is. My 8-year-old and I will be working on a Gundam Wing with the set which we purchased. Kits were packaged in bright yellow bags and surprisingly, they were not damaged upon arrival. A standard transparent tape was used to tape shut the clear case. The case is likely to be used to protect the contents The pros are * This set includes everything you will need to construct a Gundam Model* Tweezers are sharp enough to easily remove stickers from palette and place them on the model without much effort* Files have plenty of grit to remove the small imperfections that may occur* * Cons After approximately half way through the model construction, Clippers started to look dull. I had to use the files more frequently. I found the clippers do not fit properly in the case. I also found that the cleaning cloth looked dirty upon first inspection, but perhaps it was grease from the clippers (probably)* I also found that the case is difficult to shut * Overall, I think it was decent for the money. In the event that the clippers worked better, the build of the model would have taken less time and been more appealing. If the problem occurs again on the next model, I will try it again. However, if it does continue to worsen, I may have no other choice.
For those who are new to plastic model making, this is the perfect tool kit. The items you see in the pictures are what we Despite getting dull as they are used, the snips are as long lasting as a $12 pair of Testors As mentioned above, the exact style blade will not last beyond a single build, but again, the total cost of the whole kit is about the same as an Exact brand blade. Unless you're a mechanical engineer, the indexed files will be very useful, and a metal file is included for good measure. This pair of tweezers is extremely pointy, so they're great for applying decals. There's no better starter kit than this one. It's a fantastic value, too.
