There is a lot of softness in the tufts. As a result of the color and so forth, you would need to significantly modify them. I have personally used tufts that are the closest to fur that I have ever seen

As opposed to that, I got Swamp Tufts, which is very green grass. For some projects I'll be working on in the future, I will keep these. Trying to locate the red ones I want at my local stores for my current project will be my next step.
It is a great product, my only recommendation is to glue them on yourself to ensure they stay put. Several tufts have fallen off even after the adhesives on them were properly applied. I believe the adhesives are not up to par. Other than that, it is a wonderful product that really makes your miniature stand out.
When placing the bush on a model, I use glue to adhere the tufts in case the paper's adhesive weakens or weakens. I also don't trust the adhesive on the bush, so I use something like white glue or super glue instead. The pieces, however, look great, and there is a good variety of sizes as well.

You can reuse the tufts and they have a bit of sticky bottom to make them easier to use, but I recommend gluing them too.
