It performs the same as the rechargeable version in terms of functionality. This pack can only be recharged if you purchase 6 AAA rechargeable batteries as well as a charger. The rechargeable option is more convenient if you need to recharge frequently, but the AAA version may be better if you don't mind changing batteries.
When you turn it on, a light illuminates, and the batteries are functional.
The motors' rotational direction is changed by a small orange switch on this battery box. The motors are wired into the battery box directly. The orange switch on this battery box, on the other hand, has no function if an IR receiver is connected between it and the motors. br>br>The orange one is a one-of-a-kind, one-of-a-kind, one- The IR receiver has a 4-selector switch, and the 1-selector switch is similar. In order to communicate with each other, the IR controller's four selectors must be set to the same channel (1, 2, 3, or 4).
Yes, the power button is the green one. When the button is pressed, a green light appears above it. It is NOT a one-time use button; you must press it once to turn it on and then again to turn it off.

br>br> It has a screw in the bottom (which requires 6 AAA batteries [1. Batteries with a voltage of 5 volts. ), a power button, and a switch (If Amazon allows you to leave comments on reviews, please tell me what that switch does. ) br>br>This product works with the Lego Creator Expert Winter Holiday Train (Set 10254), as well as a slew of other sets that I don't own and thus can't comment on. Many Power Functions-compatible Lego sets include the pieces, and those that don't include the serial numbers for the Power Functions parts required to motorize them, as well as an installation guide on the back. br>br>Insert the batteries, press the green power button, and you're ready to go! br>br>This is a fantastic product for anyone who owns a Lego set that can accommodate this Power Functions piece.
For your train to run, you'll need more than just this battery pack. There are additional accessories, such as different wheels and remote control systems, that can be purchased to attach it to the train. br>I got the expensive battery because I read other reviews. Because it is so powerful, the train flew off the track! We stopped using full power after figuring out the remote. I was able to bring Lego to life.
It's effective, but perhaps a little too effectively. It was purchased to go with our LEGO Christmas train, which we plan to use to go around the tree. It travels at such a fast rate that it is unable to remain on the track. More track was purchased in the hopes of aiding the situation, but it did not.
This is a terrible idea. $35 is a rip-off, as evidenced by some of the Q&As. As a result, only a few batteries are compatible. Some (most) batteries have a positive terminal that is too wide to fit into the battery pack's terminal connector. However, I only realized this after attempting to repair my own and snapping one of the terminals. So now I'm out another $35 for a part that's basically a low-cost radio receiver and battery box. Lego, I appreciate it! Great job on the design!.
I'm sure the seller stated that there is a restocking fee, but this is the first time I've ever encountered one. This is a fee that Amazon NEVER imposes. As a result, Buyer Beware. Make sure you need this item before ordering because 20% paying for a restocking fee (in addition to the postage) is pretty high to pay for a restocking fee in addition% I'm sure some sellers don't charge this.
However, the train is traveling at such a high speed that it is unable to maintain its position on the track. Bought a long time ago but never used until now, when my kids and I are on vacation from school. For the price I paid, I'm not happy.
Despite the fact that the product moves the LEGO Christmas train, it fills the coal car to the point where the only thing visible is the battery pack. If the train's appearance is secondary, this is a good product; if the train's appearance is important, this pack is pretty functional and just plain ugly.
