These are fantastic and extremely simple to make. This could not have gone any more smoothly! I bought six pieces to make a table out of an IKEA Trofast storage unit. Originally, I planned on purchasing adhesive and gluing everything together. I was searching Amazon for a cheap deal on baseplates when I came across this product, which, while not the cheapest, immediately drew my attention due to its purpose. br>br>Guys, do yourself a favor and take advantage of these. The installation was not only simple, but almost instantaneous, thanks to the industrial-grade adhesive backing. There's no need to wait for the glue to dry and weigh it down. The instructions say to wait at least 24 hours, but after just a few moments, this stuff feels solid. br>br>The instructions are simple to follow and there is no mess to clean up. br>br>If you're not sure if your Lego blocks will fit together snugly. There is nothing to be concerned about. They lock down in the same way that a lego baseplate does, and they're of excellent quality. br>br>If you're thinking about saving a few bucks, I'd advise you to think twice about it because it will cost you more time and materials. This is a ready-to-use product with no hassles. go solution, and the outcomes are outstanding. I finished my custom table installation in less than an hour, and it looks very professional. It is impossible to make a mistake here. This purchase has made me extremely happy.
I was disappointed to discover that the "ready-made" table I purchased from a reputable children's brand was becoming too short for my own 6-year-old. There were no reasonably-priced options available. well-priced, well-designed I did an "IKEA hack" with these tables because I built them for older kids (which is silly because kids over the age of two are the ones who can actually apply Lego instructions and build). My friend needed storage, so I found the perfect table (IKEA Flisat series) with interchangeable bins and adhered these base plates on top of the bin covers (see photos). We ended up using one 10 x 10" plate plus eight rows of another plate to fit perfectly on the bin lids, thanks to the clear and helpful instructions. (This is a good option for those who don't require a large Lego surface but do require a multi-use area. ) table with a specific purpose). When the lids were flipped over with the plate-turner, it was easier to see what was going on inside. The Lego plates fit into the bin with the right side down, providing an even surface for other table activities. I was very pleased with myself. It was a well-made product that was simple to cut and snap together. The Legos fit perfectly on them after we followed the directions and used Lego pieces to ensure alignment from one plate to the next. It was very convenient to have the adhesive back. After taking careful measurements, I drew some marks on the table's lids and adhered them. I would strongly suggest it. We even had some extra plates that we'll use to make our own wall, just for kicks.
At a yard sale, I discovered a used spice rack in the shape of steps. I cut these adhesive baseplates down to size (per the product instructions) and used them on each level. Then, on each step, I added an extra level by using extra 2x4 black bricks. br>Now I, I mean, my son, is free to play with all of his LEGO figures. It is simple to locate. I'm looking forward to making more of these! br>*pictures of before are attached. I did a second spice rack after the first one.
This is fantastic! I work in a daycare center and had done quite a bit of research on how to build a lego wall! I was overjoyed when I discovered these peel-and-stick plates! For those who will need to cut them, they cut very easily with an exacto knife (we needed extra for the ends because our starting board was not a perfect square). For those who will need to cut them, they cut very easily with an exacto knife (we needed extra for the ends because our starting board was not a perfect square). We did put up a plywood board first (to avoid ruining the wall since we were in a corporate building), and the tiles stuck to the wood perfectly. These are definitely worth a try! Adam, the proprietor (I believe? ), was also present. ) of Creative QT, the company that created this product, has been extremely helpful. I contacted him a few times before placing my order, and he was quick to respond and offer photos and suggestions! Best of luck!.
If you're concerned about the quality or fit of these brick plates, put your worries aside and click buy now. This review will be divided into three parts. Material, application, and compatibility are all important considerations. br> The material isn't flimsy, but it does have a substantial feel to it. The stiffness is alleviated by the adhesive pad on the bottom. I wouldn't have known the difference if I hadn't known it wasn't a lego product. br> It only takes a few minutes to apply the plates. If you really want it to look even and the bricks to fit across two plates, it might take a little longer. The image below shows how to install it. To ensure a straight and uniformed install, my wife and I used painters tape to mark out the edges and sides. Please take a look at the pictures I've posted. Once installed, the adhesive is tough to remove. br> The plates are Lego, Lego Duplo, and Megaconstrux compatible. The megaconstrux blocks required a little more effort to come free than the other two brands. br> This is an excellent product that should be in the collection of every "block" owner. I did put the plates on the Ikea "Lack" table for the kid. Take a look at the photos that have been uploaded. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions about this product or my installation procedure.
