Yes - I made a LEGO table for my 6-year-old by gluing all of the 5 x 5 plates together on a tabletop. To begin, I connected each 5 x 5 with LEGO blocks for alignment. It works perfectly, and my son is a heavy lifter, so the plates are still holding up. For the money, this is a good purchase. I'd buy from them again.

I was in desperate need of LEGO compatible baseplates, and these were perfect. I have a lot of printed and stickerered tiles that I store on baseplates to make them easy to see as a long-time LEGO collector and builder. I used to do this with some old LEGO baseplates, but I needed something smaller that would fit in a small storage box. I needed to find a replacement for the 16x16 stud (5"x5") baseplates that LEGO no longer sells. Non-alcoholic beverages are not something I normally purchase. These baseplates from Brick Loot came packaged together in plastic and each baseplate within the larger package is individually wrapped in its own plastic sleeve, making them ideal for storage!br>br>They come packaged together in plastic and each baseplate within the larger package is individually wrapped in its own plastic sleeve, making them ideal for storage! They're available in a ten-piece set. Pack of four colors (3 green, 3 light gray, 2 blue, and 2 tan), with one extra tan (most likely by accident). br>br>The colors are very similar to the colors used in LEGO sets. The blue and tan appear to be the most similar, while the green and gray are only a shade darker than LEGO. You can see how I compared the baseplates to a 2x2 LEGO tile of the same color in the photo. The color difference is insignificant, comparable to the color variations seen on occasion in LEGO sets. To notice a difference, you must look very closely. br>br>Because these are baseplates rather than regular plates, the bottom side is flat and cannot be connected to anything; however, the studs on top work well with LEGO pieces. They appear to grip the pieces slightly more tightly than LEGO studs, but not excessively so. Without using excessive force or causing damage to the pieces, they can still be easily removed. Most people will not notice the difference because it is so subtle. The studs are more squared off on the edges than LEGO's slightly rounded studs, which appears to contribute to the improved grip. br>br>The baseplates are slightly thinner than LEGO baseplates, but not by much. They work fine when placed next to a LEGO baseplate and the gap is bridged with a piece; the difference in thickness is about the thickness of a sheet of paper, if that. It's not a huge deal. They also appear to be a little more rigid than LEGO baseplates, though they still flex. They appear to be quite durable so far and should last a long time. br>br>Overall, this is an excellent product that I would strongly recommend if you are looking for a less expensive alternative to LEGO baseplates. As a LEGO brand purist (I only use LEGO brand parts in my builds), I won't use these for building unless I plan to cover all of the studs, but they're perfect for my tile storage solution; for anyone else who doesn't care about brand, these will work great for any brick project or play.
I was a little hesitant to order off-brand Legos, but I'm glad we did. br>br>The plates are of excellent quality; they are sturdy rather than flimsy. Our son and daughter were enthralled by the colors! They explained that the blue represented water, the green represented grass, the tan represented sand, and the gray represented space right away. Three grays, three greens, two tans, and two blues were given to us. We definitely need more grass and space in our construction projects, so this is the ideal amount! br>br>I loved the packaging! I was impressed with how each plate was wrapped in its own sleeve and then stacked in another sleeve. It's ideal for gift-wrapping because of the way it's packaged. br>br>These plates are the ideal size for construction. Our children frequently create small, quick works. They are 100% compatible with brand-name Legos, but cost a fraction of the price. They are precisely what we required for the construction of our off-road vehicle. Let the kids' imaginations run wild with a new Lego collection. I'm ecstatic to have discovered this alternative. br>br>Shipping was quick, packaging was sturdy, and the quality of the base plates is excellent (I was worried they would be fragile, but they aren't). These are one-of-a-kind. a set of four sided plates that can be used to build a Lego table.
The baseplates are nice, but they don't connect at the bottom. My daughter had a desire to construct a multi-level structure. However, only the tops of the plates connect the blocks in a level dwelling. The name-brand blocks, on the other hand, do connect and stay put! Although the plates are a little thinner than name brand plates, this isn't a problem when building a home.
My only complaint is that they are a little taller than name brand baseplates, so you have to work a little magic to get them to line up, which in my case required some stick-to-it-ness. on floor tiles made of vinyl If you're going to put them on a table, I recommend sticking with these and only these so they don't line up.
Overall, these are a great value, but we would not have ordered them if we had known they weren't as tall as standard LEGO brand boards. They're shorter than a standard LEGO board, so if you want to combine one of these with a standard LEGO board, you'll have to stack two of them together. They also don't have the connections on the bottom, so they slip and slide instead of fitting together like blocks.
