I ordered a M/L. It took about a half hour to send out the clothes because the size was very similar to the sizing guide, but the exact measurements did differ slightly from what was described. Again, it would have worked, but it was As far as I've seen, the helmet does not come with additional padding (most helmets I've seen in the past come with different sizes to ensure you get a snug fit, essential for safety), and when I wear it, it wobbles excessively. I have a lot of pain in my head due to the thin padding. Returning this will be my next move.
When it is on, my 8-year-old is not allowed to touch his bicycle. The summer was a busy time for him with this. It feels better to be able to discuss this with him. I am impressed with the helmet's quality. It is important to me that this stuff is of the highest quality. It would be a good buy! Featured Pros 1. The interior has a comfortable lining. 2. Breathable 3. Including the buckle and strap, the materials are of good quality. 4 *br I've given it to my 8-year-old child multiple times after he has bicycled to the park and around the house multiple times. It has never failed to perform well after multiple uses after being thrown about. 1. Cons
1. My mind cannot come up with any.
My daughter ended up needing a size larger than what she was expecting. However, the look (style) and quality are pretty good, so it will be stored until she grows into it physically.
The strap on the back is not adjustable. This helmet came back because it does not have an adjustable strap that goes around the base of the skull in the back, so it will not be a snug fit nor will it stay in place when used vigorously.
I had ordered M/L, but (according to the inside label on the helmet) I received a S/M. It is a great-looking helmet, but unfortunately I received a wrong size. This set is supposed to be for ages 14+, but my son, who is 11, was too small for it. Because of Amazon's excellent return policy, we will be able to return it.
I bought these for my two boys to use on hoverboards and skateboards. Helmets that feel solid and are very comfortable to wear. The fact that they have not said anything negative about each other means that all is well. The fall protection they provide is unique - they are not ventilated like bicycle helmets so they don't offer the maximum cooling benefits. However, I believe they offer the ultimate fall protection - they offer the best protection from falling. The back of the head is especially sensitive to heat.
So far the item has proven to be very sturdy and durable. It has even hit him in the head and no damage was done to the helmet.
The design and overall look is appealing to us. Whatever makes our child safe is acceptable to us as long as it doesn't harm him or her.
