When I skateboarded aggressively for many years, I always wore a pro-style helmet This is technology. These don't like me because all it takes is one solid crack and the thing is destroyed. It reverberates dispersing the impact (I am not a doctor by any stretch of the imagination), but these have saved my skull from 15' drops and parking lot gaps, and even pinged my head off the corner of a square railing once. Sincerely, I don't care what the label says these helmets have saved my life throughout my teens and early 20s. Now that I'm older, again I am glad to use them.
This is what I loved about When I was younger, I wore Tec helmets. Generally, these are great, light, comfortable, and serve their purpose well for what they are intended for. A few spills on my push scooter convinced me to pick up a helmet after I hadn't worn one since I was a kid. Helmets of this size are the ones I usually wear. It is hard to fit a lot in my head. I am It was too small for me. I ordered a Medium helmet, and it turned out to be too big for me. My next order will be as a Large, but if I was looking for something more protective, I might opt for something with a bit more padding.
Until I found a helmet that was as reliable as the one I currently have, I tried out a few other brands. Sadly, other helmets did not feel as secure as this one, so I had to buy it again, and I am completely satisfied with it. It works for biking, and many other helmets only fit on the top of the head, and do not feel as secure as this one. That is not a problem with tec. No matter where I turn, I feel safe as if my head is supported and safe from all angles. If something unfortunate happens, I am not concerned about it falling off. Buying what I know and trust was a good decision.
Padding inside the skate does not stay in place and will not last long. It is not pleasant for kids to wear helmets, but when they have to (like in my case) they love it! In my opinion, this is the best product for the price, that looks the best, is safest, and is made well. The inside padding does come off quickly for a true In the case where your kid skates or scooters only sporadically, this is the perfect scooter for him/her. As a result of the inside padding not being secure enough, I have to buy them more frequently.
The kids like it, it fits well and it looks great. I just ordered a new x-ray machine for my 8-year-old This was the perfect size for me. My son, 12, wears a small and the fit is perfect. Excellent product! I will definitely order again.
This is the third helmet I have ordered as I've had trouble finding one that's comfortable for me. When wearing SnapBack hats, I wear them without more than two snaps snapped, if that gives you an idea of how they I find this helmet to be very comfortable and well fitting. In retrospect, I should have chosen ProTec the first time around, as they are the best. I am giving it four stars only because I haven't been able to test it too extensively As soon as I can, I will update.
