It's extremely simple to clean

I look after my grandchildren as well as a few children with special needs. I'm always on the lookout for ways to keep them occupied that don't involve watching TV or playing video games. I purchased several colors of Kinetic sand and placed it in lidded bins. The kids love playing with the sand, and it's easy to clean up because it sticks together, so I use a small piece to blot up any that falls to the floor. When a mischievous child sneaks it from the kitchen to the living room, it comes off the carpet as well. lol. The only drawback is that, like play dough, you can't separate the colors once they've started mixing them together.

Not at all what I had hoped for

It was not at all what I had hoped for. It keeps the sand moist enough to mold it, but it's sticky and difficult to clean, especially off small hands.

When it arrived, it was in a state of disarray. I was extremely disappointed because the sand was wet and had an unusual texture that stuck to my students' hands. I couldn't keep it and had to toss it out! I should have returned it right away, but I didn't want to go through the trouble of doing so.
