Check out these kid reviews Three of my children are 6 and 5, and one is just about to turn Besides painting, coloring, and writing stories, they love to draw and color. This set has a lot of cups, containers, and slots so that everything can be crammed in. It is each's responsibility to secure its own storage space. The assembly entails Using a drill is not necessary, but assembly time can be cut Since there are no precut holes, a hammer will work too, if you don't have a drill. Once the screws are in place, you can twist the plastic to secure them. There are visual instructions that make it easier to understand what needs to be done. Aspects of functionality In addition to the bench, we incorporated a stool in order to fit two kids at the table at once. One can sit on the stool while the other sits on the The clothes fit just fine for my 5 and 6 year olds, as they are on the smaller side. In the next school year, I think they will be a little too tall. With this easel, my youngest can reach and sit at the right height. The easel is smaller than the kids' ones we already have, so I am currently unable to attach paper to it. In my opinion, the board part appears to be better suited for chalk or dry erase designs, so you will need to buy those if you don't want to wash the board.
Overall, for the price, this is not a bad purchase. The program combines a variety of art exercises into one convenient location (painting, coloring with crayons or markers, drawing on a board). Also, it is easy for you to move from room to room.
In a nutshell, I purchased this item for my 21 month old daughter and she took to coloring right away and liked standing at the desk as well as trying out the dry erase surfaces and small canvases. She actually really liked painting with paint brushes and paper that was clipped to the dry erase surfaces. It took us at least six rotations to put them away and she still wouldn't Fortunately, there is plenty of art supply organization that is well thought-out and efficient Take a moment. There is a storage space under the desk top that can be used to store blank paper or finished products. There was no trouble wiping off paint even when it was all over the place. It is easy to imagine this young girl spending many hours at the desk area, enjoying building blocks, coloring and snacking. As for the chalk board on the backside, we haven't used it yet, but expect that it will be of the same quality as the rest of it. In the activity center itself, there are more than enough places to hang the removable cups for a variety of needs (storing paint brushes, crayons, markers, water to rinse paint brushes, and so forth. )
Assembly took about.
My husband exits stage left whenever he sees an instruction manual! I am the primary assembler and he is not! To sum it all up, this experience was If you are trying this, you should remove all toddlers from the home before you begin. If you don't want to buy it, simply do not I find the instructions to be incomprehensible. If you want full control of your environment, you'll need at least four hands. See the first picture for instructions on how to grow arms like an octopus! Even though I had written a tutorial on how to assemble this baby crib, I was able to put together a simple, inexpensive crib with a built-in changing table by myself! Approximately ten minutes into the first two picture instructions, I had to stop, have a cigarette, and take a Xanax. None of these things are items I drink, smoke, or have anxiety about! Even the four letter words that a mom should not be forced to say will be left out of discussion. The fact that my husband came was such a blessing, because I can tell you that if he hadn't, I would have imagined just how hot it would have been to melt the plastic! Having made this wrong decision, you can be assured that I should have gone with the little desk and chair. It would have been logical to think that after so much hard work and perseverance the feeling of pride would be immeasurable once the quest was accomplished. That's not right! There is an uncomfortable swing and the top piece leans in just enough to drive you bonkers! Currently, my son is 3 years old and 40 inches tall, a size that will be hard for him to fit into until he is 12 months old. For example, the crayon caddie is not tall enough to contain color pencils, which is why they spill There is no way for the crayons to stand in the holes, and the two small green bins have no way of staying in their home, so it is impossible to use them. You'll need to keep looking if you want to get your child a nice art desk for their room.
I have had a lot of fun and made some great artwork with it. When we visited friends with the Step2 Art Center, our children were playing with it a great deal, so we decided to purchase one for our family. I found the instructions to be easy to follow and it feels This is a great art center that I highly recommend.
My first experience of bias with a step2 product came with our purchase of a Step2 Art Master Desk, which has exceeded my expectations. As we are getting ready to start school, my other child requested I get him a new desk. The durability of many of Step2's products has impressed me, but this art center has felt a bit wobbly to me. You might want to consider buying another Step2 product instead of this art center table, as this product may discourage you from purchasing other excellent products from Step2.
This product has a few things that need to be fixed. For instance, the holes were out of line so I had to get my husband to drill them. As for the rest, assembly was pretty simple. Despite its large size and weight, it is very sturdy. Several sweeping and mopping tasks can be easily accomplished without having it in the way. One of the main problems I have with this is that there is heavy wear on the top portion and we have not yet figured out how to fix it. A year ago, we gave this to my boys for their big Christmas present. I wish I had chosen something different for them. It would be more enjoyable to do arts and crafts at the kitchen table. The game takes up quite a bit of room for something they don't play with that The kids like to play grocery store at the same time with it because it has plenty of storage! Since the chalk and dry erase markers get down into the frame, that makes cleaning a little tricky, but it's a decent product nonetheless! It may be best for younger kids, since they won't grow out of it so quickly.
