Melissa & Doug Double-Sided Magnetic Tabletop Art Easel - Dry-Erase Board and Chalkboard

I was very disappointed that the tray cannot be used with the chalkboard side (it is really bad quality), and the tray itself does not flip over to be used. Although the feet do not move around, there is some rubber or silicone at the bottom which helps it stay in place. The paper never tears off cleanly and doesn't tear close to the edge. It may be easier to achieve a neater piece of art by changing the edge. I think it's a nice idea but needs some adjustments. far, we have only used it on the whiteboard portion of it with only one marker included.

We can do so much with it, and I just love that. For her to use on it, we purchased Crayola's dry erase crayons. She enjoys those a lot, but I'd recommend them for older kids because they do require you to press quite a bit so that they show up clearly. That is why my daughter prefers to use the marker that comes with it. Also, Melissa and Doug's wooden animal magnets are a big hit, as are the letters that come with it. The chalk side is great, although the pieces that came with it broke into many pieces the first time we used it (which wouldn't happen with a more careful In general, this easel has been a great purchase for me and I would highly recommend it for families with children. My child has been using this quite a bit in teaching her alphabet and numbers recently. Despite my preference for the dry erase board, my major issue is there is nothing stopping the paper roll from unrolling. When the paper roll is removed, you're left with two sharp inserts sticking out. A locking mechanism should be included on the support stand as well. With any force applied, such as when you are drawing or writing, it won't stay in the position you put it in. It's clear that some improvements need to be made.
