A typical sheet of printer paper is not thicker than this. Perhaps a tad thinner, but still probably the same.
While I haven't played Pictionary in a while, I think this would be fine for that. The pads are just over a foot and a half wide (17 inches), but not quite two The package comes with two pads of paper, too.
The answer is yes. Paints such as watercolors and regular paint do not cause any problems for us
As you draw or paint on them, they can be torn out when you tear them out. The only problem is that you will get a rough edge if you try to take a page from the middle. This very thick and good paper has to be bent before you tear it out as well, as it is very thick. This is what you need to know about two things. In order to hold the thicker paper, they are using a better adhesive strip so it doesn't fall apart when it is removed, as well as the thick paper which is heavy and can cause a little work Just folding it up and down a few times is all that is needed. You can always sharpen the edges of the pages you remove if the page leaves a rough edge when it is removed from the middle with scissors or a paper cutter. It is a paper I would recommend.
Selected User Reviews For Melissa & Doug Easel Pad (17 x 20 inches) - 50 Sheets, 2-Pack
This item is quite large and measures 17x20 inches! These are true easel size books. The two pack was very convenient from a price standpoint. Furthermore, the paper is sturdy and not too thick or thin, so far it has stood up well to crayons, markers, permanent markers, watercolors, and various other art supplies. We'd like to give another round of applause to Melissa & Co. I'm very pleased with the Doug product. They are packaged in plastic wrap and are not damaged or bent.
Melissa & Associates have been great to work with The products I have used since my son was a baby for my special needs son have been Douglas. In addition, I'd like to express my disappointment. In addition to the two large pads, I also purchased two small ones. You can read the full translation The paper is extremely thin with a shiny surface, which makes it hard to draw on and it soaked through the hole. I used markers to draw Mandela, and the paper was too wet to handle. The only time I write a negative review is for a company that I dislike. However, during times like these, especially when a reputable and highly respected company such as Melissa and Doug provides a superior product, it makes sense to do so. Although I am a fan of all of their products, this one was a flop. Please accept our sincere apologies. Melissa and Premium white bond paper in a 2-pack bound pad The 50-sheet package measures 17" x 20". It makes a great gift for both boys and girls. Children ages 2, 3, and 4 years old and older should use this).
I thought that these would be the ideal gift for my nephew as he loves painting and drawing. The reason I (and he) was happy with these pads is because of their size and how they provide sufficient space for young artists. They are the perfect size to fit a child's easel or can be used on the floor if you don't have one. Two packs of 50 sheets are included in the package, so you get plenty of paper. In the case that you use this on the floor, you need to put something underneath since the sheets will bleed through if you use a wetter medium (paint, watercolor, or markers with heavy duty ink). If you need big scratch paper or you have to write a lot on a big sheet, I would recommend these for children with no doubt, but I wouldn't overlook them for adults who need big scratch paper and big sheets I have no complaints about the purchase overall, just be aware that the pages are.
Despite its reasonable price, the paper is much too small to fit on the easel. One of the ones I have is wood (cannot remember the brand. May have been Melissa & Doug Theodore Douglas. LOL) and the paper isn't large enough to cover the entire Therefore, paint will get on the chalkboard or whiteboard, so you have to put tape on the sides and bottom of the easel (under this paper) to prevent paint from getting on it. As a result, my daughter's whiteboard is just hoping that it isn't ruined now that I noticed this issue too late. Actually, this paper would be better had it been used as a It's easily done by laying it down on the floor for kids to draw on. Market it as easel paper seems to be a bit misleading. The only thing you need is a roll of paper for the.
I find the easel pads to be perfect for my 20" easel This month - His obsession with drawing has recently gotten him into trouble. The man draws on every inch of every sheet of paper, so he can go through one pad very quickly, so he has to carry a second one A back pack is useful. I have an Ikea easel, but I haven't installed it yet since he's a bit short for it, and he'd be more comfortable using it if he was sitting at his desk, which it completely covers. The ink and crayons we currently use are both water-based. In light of the fact that we got the paint at a relatively low cost, we won't be using it for painting.
I bought these sheets for my second easel and I was very pleased with the performance. We created the Easel by hand with Melissa and Doug. The chalk was not covered in full or the dry- erase board was not covered in full. Boards with a dry erase surface. It would probably not be an issue for a child older than two, but our son, 2, is quite exuberant in his drawing and won't let him confine his artwork to a page. The result is that we will have to remind them constantly to be careful, which may be Markers with washable ink are okay, but it is better to use pencils and crayons.
For an office party, I bought these large pads to play pictionary, and they were a hit! It's a company I'll use.
I use these as drawing pads, but the paper is not thick enough to allow drawing on both sides. Most of the time it doesn't matter because there is nothing that can be saved, but sometimes they produce an excellent piece and then deface it with drawing. Even so, I won't spend more money on items that will be thrown out 99 out of 100 times. You're more likely to save a drawing when your child is a genius artist. If your child is that kind of artist, you should get.
