Questions & Answers
There is no magnetic surface on the dry erase board.
A couple of the easels can be adjusted in height. The adjustments may have been higher on 2 occasions. We are using it at the lowest height for a 2 year old, but it should work for kids up
This is unfortunately not the case. The board has two sides, one being dry erase board and the other being chalkboard. Reviews were not favorable for both sides, but the paper tray and paint tray, as well as the adjustability, make it an excellent buy
A single can of paint is all you receive. There is a possibility that chalk, crayons, paint, paper rolls, etc., will have to be purchased
Selected User Reviews For Melissa & Doug Deluxe Standing Art Easel - Dry-Erase Board, Chalkboard, Paper Roller
When my husband began to thread the screws into place, it wasn't difficult to get the pieces together a bit. In several reviews, users have also mentioned that the chalkboard is too slippery to draw on, I believe that is because the board is designed for sidewalk chalk, not chalk markers. It would have been best if the chalk dust was not on the floor, so that's perfect! Chalk markers may also be used on the whiteboard and chalkboard A baby wipe or damp cloth can be used to remove dry erase markers, as opposed to a wet wipe or dry erase marker. We received a unit that appears to be structurally sound and not wiggly at all. Perhaps this is due to how tightly the screws are inserted on the unit.
Being a teacher means I have the following responsibilities Due to COVID, I am suddenly forced to teach remotely In addition to teaching Pre-K, I also consult From kindergarten to fifth easel in the hopes that my son and I could quickly assemble it in my small apartment and that I would have a white board, chalk board, and a place to clip paper all conveniently located in view of my laptop. This angers me so much! There are unclear directions, the screws are too short, the screw holes are not properly aligned, and the hinges and wood bend like butter when you try to make them. This junk is made of shabby materials and requires two people to assemble it. It comes with incorrect hardware and is poorly constructed. The next day I have another class to teach In the end, I had to use duct tape and longer screws I had on hand. How foolish to use my limited resources in this way. A "Deluxe" package? My vocabulary lesson tomorrow will be on ANTONYMS, so that will be good!.
There's nothing I like about According to my son, he has less of an affinity for it. This is *1/1. Putting together something that folds flat by nature should not require so much assembly
2. To make assembly easier, they used plastic knobs with nuts embedded within, which eliminated the need for an allen wrench. Keeping the allen wrench would have been a good idea. Children can put together their own blocks without the help of tools, just like adults. 4 *br Many of the plastic knobs are broken and there is no way to fix them On the easel, there are a number of different colours. **5. * A couple of those knobs had absolutely no threading on the inside of the nut, making them totally In addition to the hardware pack, 1 extra was included. As a result, we only had to leave one place on the list. IKEA recently had a lot more affordable easel, despite being less feature rich, for a lot less money than we had to pay Allen bolts had been used every which way, but now we realize that they might be better suited Be sure to look closely at the knobs, too!.
The easel I'm using is really annoying. I found that within the first couple of days one of the screws that allow the easel to fold up came loose. There is no way to fix this wood since it is too soft. There are just so many of them. I agree, even when conditioning it like it says to, chalkboards are pretty awful. Since I have it for a couple of years, we haven't used it much. The feature was broken early on, and we were not able to open and close it, but I can't imagine it would hold up to repeated Additionally, the wood doesn't have any sealant, so it absorbs markers or sharpies or paint with no hope of scrubbing it In order to get the Melissa and Doug name, I paid more than I should have, but I wish the wood and mechanisms were sealed. The device is now completely broken, and since it is useless, I put it against a wall and use it when I need Quite disappointing, I must say.
This was a birthday present I bought for my son in February. I wish that it were a bit better made, but he has enjoyed it so far. Using the chalk side doesn't improve the clarity of the colors. We have used chalk from crayola as well as chalk zone (walgreens) and it doesn't make any difference. Using a white board for drawing is not a very good idea. While they write, off brands almost "stick" to their paper, making their writing look I actually had to get board cleaner for Expo since it writes very clear, yet doesn't come off well. My white board cleaner included windex, and the vinegar solution was also tested. It is hard to clean the white board. Even after thorough cleaning, you can see that it is quite stained. I did not find it difficult to put together, but we had to use a couple of clamps to hold the legs in place while the parts were The problem has been resolved. Board does not have a magnetic property. It has no structural issues. The same easel can be made for 20 people. There is a MAGNETIC back that will cost you an additional $0. 00. Having the ability to adjust the height is great for my husband and son as he grows. A nice addition to the easel are the colors. In order to redo the chalkboard side, we will paint it. It may only be necessary to replace the dry erase board or to get a different one for use in It is a good thing that he mostly hangs paintings on the white board side. Despite all that, we'd buy her products again if we had the choice, but if given the chance, we would have looked.
Thanks a lot! Neither my wife nor my toddler seem to dislike it. For the chalkboard/dry erase board, I like its height adjustment, which allows the board to grow with your child. The instructions have a slight issue, if you assemble as shown in the images with the hinges facing out, you will have alignment problems with the pre-drilled holes When I flipped the legs around I realized the holes and screws used to get the 2 piece legs together would not be long enough. Once I figured that out and flipped them around I was able to assemble them much more This is quite a sturdy and stable machine once it's been assembled. She likes to push it around the living room while we are watching TV. With her growing body, she will be able to use it in the proper way.
