We use it in our room since my daughter is 7 and my son is 8. It just so happens that I just bought them an area rug so that they can play with it and be creative. It's a BIG Hit with them! Keeping them occupied keeps me occupied as well!

A few pieces were damaged in transit, even though everything was carefully packed. My first email to the company was replied to quickly, but the new piece did take about a week to arrive, so be sure to properly stock all the parts and prepare to wait if there are any issues. In addition to the previous review, I've updated it with a photo of the latest issue. Dec. 2 was the first day that the white board buckled. Using the earphones, she took them on March 26 within 24 hours of starting to use them. The toy that my daughter enjoys doing not get damaged as much as my other two do (knowing the other two are). My surprise was that the whiteboard material actually does not comprise of solid material, but rather a thin sheet stuck to some sort of particle board This poses a problem for me, because I'm confused about why it's A replacement part has been ordered, and I have emailed the company that I need the part. Putting it together has just taken a bit of time. will update it if it does not meet my standards, but I can say that I am currently very satisfied. This particular piece was not terribly challenging to assemble (I had to unscrew a few screws previously to get the next piece to fit together, but it wasn't too difficult). All in all, I feel it's very sturdy once it's all tightened. The gray part was done by us). In addition, it's relatively resistant to outgrowth since it has chalk, paper, and a white board (plus its height means he won't outgrow it). I'm willing to pay a little more than I normally would for a crayon and magnet toy, but my 3 year old can grow into it, making it something I'm willing to consider purchasing.
It's my child's 3rd birthday, so I bought it for him. I love it and it's a good product. However, the paint on this easel has started melting? His clothes and toys were dirty from getting a fluid on his skin or something. It is really sticky, and it is hard to wash it off. I do not know what this thing is. This easel is only compatible with crayons and markers, and we can't use our own paint with it. Besides returning the product (which is going to be challenging), I will need to throw away clothes, toys, and some household items.
Almost the only problem I have with this easel is the chalkboard. It isn't like the one we used in school when we were younger. It's almost impossible for me to write on the chalkboard side no matter what kind of chalk I use. I've bought better chalk boards from the $3-$6 range before. Sad to report that Target's $5 section is no longer available. For the kids, this is very frustrating. This would be great if there were just two markers boards. My two kids would love it! Perhaps one day, when I'm brave enough, I'll try to figure out how to accomplish that. Nonetheless, it's a beautiful easel board in spite of all that, so I don't want to spoil There has been a tendency for the marker side of the board to bubble up on the bottom right quadrant of the board after a year. So unfortunate when we need that area to write on. When I homeschool, I need all the space I can get. It's a long assembly process, but you've got to be patient as it will be worth it because it's a very impressive.
It took me today to assemble this. Approximately 45 minutes were required for the process. Assembly of the bottom 2 trays caused them to break apart. Neither the manufacturer nor the seller glues these pre-assembled units A very good job assembling trays. It was luck that I had wood glue handy and glued all the perimeters of the trays and at the joints as I put them all Having to glue all the joints was not essential if the trays broke. That was one reason I did not glue them all. With this in hand, I am confident it will hold up well. All in all, this easel is well made and well designed. This is a sturdy stool without being overly I found it to be well packaged and the screws included did not fail, as other reviewers have said.
A picture was sent to the company after I contacted them. The company replaced the unit in a month, even though I was already past the refund deadline. Great customer service! (updated the rating from one to three stars, because the quality is still questionable).
This was a gift for my kids for We discovered the very bottom shelf side bar was split and cracked the moment we took it out of the box. Santa was going to bring the gift that night, so we had to put it together. We do not have time to send it The piece failed to adhere to the substrate after being glued. It looks like a disaster in my front room, especially since the top shelf is falling apart. My kids really like the easel, but it's a mess. Besides that, the shelves won't be able to hold anything If it's not too late, I want to arrange a replacement as soon as possible. Purchases should be made if you want to. I hope you are handy and hope you are able to do this!.
It is not very often that I write a review on Amazon unless I fall into one of the extremes being either at the high or low end Since I have four children ranging in age from 20 to 7, I have put together what seems like a thousand toys in my lifetime. . . And I can honestly say that this is one of the top items that I have recently had to put together myself with absolute Like many people, I hate and dread having to put anything together with instructions. . . I was pleasantly surprised with how intuitive and easy to read the directions were and the product itself is wonderful and a joy to not see nothing but junk in my kid's bedroom. . . Five stars all the way.
We found this Art Easel to be just what we needed. It took a little to get it started. The time allotted to me was a little longer than the suggested 45 minutes. But half way through I discovered that using the right tools made the process go much quicker. An easel of this quality is sturdy and well constructed. I would say that it's not at all flimsy. The shelves and collapsible baskets it came with, along with the roll of art paper, are great. I loved that it was for my grand daughter! I was very satisfied with the price and the delivery was on time. The packaging was also good, as there were no visible damages. Even though the box was caught in the rain, it did not affect.
