That is, I just didn't manage to do it despite trying.
My daughter puts magnets on the dry erase board that feature Disney Princesses
Basically, it's just a board that you can erase.
The box is basically made of cardboard. You're talking about pure garbage, I'm afraid. It's not cheap, but the price is worth it. You will also need to work hard to put it together.

I love this for my daughter, who is two years old. The dry erase side is on the front of the board, and the chalk side is on the back. The dry erase side is the most frequently used, as it provides a cleaner workspace. Put it together in no time. The assembly looked easy to me as I watched my hubby assemble it.
I have blown myself up multiple times. In the directions, there are only pictures and the steps are broken up into multiple pictures, so it was easy to miss putting the There were multiple times when I had to take it apart. I finally finished the project, but I couldn't figure out why the fabric had vinyl polka dots. It had to be taken apart a second time to install that. I had to fix it after it broke while I was assembling it. Even though I looked at it while my toddler was playing with it, the puzzle didn't come together. It's very cool that it has a chalk board on the back, but you have to totally disassemble it to use it as a chalk board. While cool, it's a major hassle. Although it seems sturdy once it's put together, it's one of the most complicated devices I've ever used. That is the sole reason why I would not buy from them again.
As I didn't care about a black board and the fact that they couldn't be flipped over (white and black boards) without disassembling the desk, I was fine with that restriction. Reviewers warned me that the assembly would be difficult based on their experiences. It was really a beautiful day. There is so much ambiguity! It took a couple of attempts to get some parts right.
This is NOT a magnetic dry erase board, despite the fact that the product claims to be -Once the board is installed, it needs to be disassembled and reassembled when you want to switch from the dry erase board to the chalk board. Note that there are no markers, erasers or chalk included in the package. It's not my cup of tea.
The only reason I gave this a 4 is that the directions did not seem to be very clear, there are no written explanations, only drawings. Additionally, the flip side of the white board is a chalk board, so I suppose it's not impossible for it to be used instead as a chalk board. The cooler thing would be if it could be easily interchanged. Except for that, it is a lovely desk. It's going to be a wonderful Easter morning for my little one!.
I had a hard time assembling the product. It was apparent that the legs of the chairs were all chipped/painted over.
My opinion is that the idea is great, but the manufacturing process does not work well. There are no directions for how to swap sides since it is too complicated to take apart. The pictures must be less confusing and there should be more words. In addition to the difficulties of putting it together, it does not come with markers or anything else to make it more useful. It is a big hit with the kid, once it's put together.
My kid loves it though! However, there are a few facts to be aware of. A few of the parts in the box were wrong, and the sturdiness was compromised! We should be able to get a replacement by Monday morning, so I'll be in touch with customer support. It doesn't take long to assemble, but there are a few times when you have to make sure that all the pegs and pipes line up properly. In the instructions, there is a step that instructs you to screw in two support blocks for the drawing portion of the drawing. Having a partner makes putting on the second side so much easier. The board would not be able to sit upright in any photos if you did this. In spite of the above, the drawing board is super loose and pops right out, but I believe that this is due to the sturdiness of the piece being compromised by the messed-up part. I will update as soon as I speak.
