What a fantastic present for a child! I purchased an Easter basket for my 3-year-old daughter. We had run out of chalk and were looking for something entertaining to do. My three daughters (ages 3, 5, and 11) all loved them and played "ice cream shop" outside for nearly three hours, and then for the next few days on and off. Some of them broke when they were dropped, but that didn't bother my kids because they grounded them and mixed them with water to make Chalk paint. Will purchase again in order to give as birthday gifts to friends.
These chalkboard sets are incredibly cute. The package is much larger and heavier than I anticipated! When the price fell to around $20, I placed my order. I'm not sure any children's chalk is worth more than that, but I adore these sets; they're unique, and I'd buy them again for $20.
It's a bit on the expensive side, but it's well worth it. When I gave this to my two daughters (ages 2 and 4) for Easter, they were ecstatic. This chalk set is super cute and of good quality. I'm not sure I'd buy it just for the sake of buying it, but it does make a nice gift for special occasions.
This is an excellent product, and the thickness of the various chalks astounded me. They have a slight odor, but the bright colors make up for it when they are written. They also don't produce a lot of dust.
To be honest, I was a little hesitant to spend $20 on chalk. This set, on the other hand, is absolutely incredible. There are a lot of pieces in this set, as well as stencils, and it's just a high-quality set. I'm delighted with my purchase.
The entire family is enamored with this chalk; it's fun that they're well-shaped and that the stencils are enjoyable to use.
