In terms of this item, I would say that it complies with its description. The least we can do is. With it holding a drill, an impact and a cordless ratchet, there is not a lot of wobbling. The batteries are not attached to me, so the weight is reduced. It probably would hold them even if you put batteries in it. If I had batteries on them, I would expect a slight droop. As far as the functionality is concerned, it does exactly what it is supposed to do. It will make a difference if you really make an effort. If you are looking for something thicker, I would look elsewhere.
This drill storage rack replaced a drawer in a 5-drawer tool cart where I stored my cordless drills. The rack effectively freed up that storage space, which allowed me to use it for other purposes. It was a no-brainer from the point of view of storage. My 1/2 in Impact Driver, 3/8 in Impact Driver, a cordless tire inflator and a cordless drill driver fit perfectly in the case with the appropriate fasteners. The batteries are included for each tool. To date, I am very satisfied with this storage rack, especially because of its black color, which goes perfectly with the green cart.
It is well built and very well constructed. It is drilled with accurate slots that allow for fitting of studs. Included mounting screws and washers are of good quality, as well. In minutes, you have it installed. It sits DeWalt drills perfectly, but the forward/reverse button on Porter Cable drills makes it difficult for them to fit properly. In spite of that, this product is excellent.
Very durable. I am amazed at how thick it is in a world full of cheap junk. The surface would be great for my wife to stand on if it were mounted to the wall.
With two cordless drills and a cordless impact driver, the metal in it does not bend or flex and fits perfectly in it.
Ryobi tools can only be used in certain directions with these. The slots are a little thin to accommodate different mounting positions on other vendors' handles, but they'll work on other vendors with skinny handles.
I really like it. I am grateful for your help. Even though I was worried my DeWalt impact would not fit, it works perfectly. It is centered and aligned with the screws.
My cordless drills remain untouched by this product, but using it as a storage unit is a welcome addition. This is an excellent.
