With three bolt holes, it stands 8 inches tall.
There's no reason why it shouldn't be possible. 1/4" x 2- 1/2". Each bracket has three players.
I don't recall if the rack comes with the necessary hardware for mounting it to cinder block walls. If not, purchasing the appropriate anchors from a store like Home Depot or Lowe's is not a difficult task. Even if additional anchors must be purchased, the rack is still a good value.
The shelf extends about 1 inch above the shelf itself, giving it a total vertical height of 8 inches. As a result, the shelf's back rests against the 1 inch above it. A saddle clamp with two screws that straddles the back of the shelf to lock it in place and provide additional support is also available; make sure that clamp is screwed to a stud.

First and foremost, these shelves are exactly what they claim to be. shelves. They're substantial and appear to be of high quality. It gets a little dicey with the directions. The brackets are simple to install: space them approximately 32" apart as directed on the package, predrill three holes per bracket into studs, and secure them with bolts and washers. It's quite simple. I had to go into dry wall because my studs were an odd length apart from where I wanted to mount them. I used drywall anchors to hold the drywall in place. I'm using very sturdy ones, and I'm not planning on storing anything near the shelf's maximum capacity. So far, everything seems to be going swimmingly. br>br>One commenter remarked on how sharp the actual shelves are, and they are correct. It just so happens that I mounted these next to my backdoor in my garage, and as you descend the stairs, you come to a point where you are roughly level with the shelf. I'm 5'11" tall, so the bottom shelf is about eye level. They protrude quite a bit from the rest of the group. I had to zip tie a towel to the corner because I was afraid someone would smoke their face on it, which was more than I had anticipated. Each cross wire protrudes from the corners. This is far from ideal. br>br>The directions aren't very good. I'm a mechanically inclined person, so it wasn't a big deal for me, but you have to be careful how you install the shelves on the bracket, or the bracket will bend, as some people have discovered. In that regard, the shelves are a little strange. I also despise the fact that the shelves do not lock into the brackets. at all. They simply move around. This is also not ideal; You get approximately 2- The bracket that comes with it to secure the shelf to the wall allows for 3 inches of play on either side; protects it from sliding back and forth by securing it to the wall. However, because it sits in grooves on the bracket, this isn't an issue. The problem is moving to the left-hand side of the screen. right. br>br>So, in general, I think these shelves are fine, but I'm not sure if they're worth the money. You're paying a high price for a high-quality item. My three stars are due to the poor directions for those who aren't mechanically inclined, as well as the way they sit in the bracket, among other things.
The shelves are well made and of good quality, but the lag bolts shear with such little force that I don't think they can be installed safely with the included hardware. The instructions recommend installing the lag bolts with a drill, but this causes the bolts to shear immediately. The bolts shear with minimal force even when hand tightened with a standard 3/8" socket wrench. Even if you were able to secure the bolts without them shearing, there's no way they'd be able to support the 250 pounds. for which the shelf has been assigned a rating br>br>It's a real shame that this company ruined their product in order to save a few cents on production costs.
I had to have this in my garage. I went to Lowes and Home Depot to look for shelving, but neither store seemed to have anything worth buying. I checked out a few things on Amazon, and this was one of them. I put it on my wish list and went back to look at it several times because it had excellent reviews and would be a great fit in my one-room apartment. garage for automobiles The second item was excessively long. Below are some of the benefits and drawbacks of these shelves: Advantages: br>br>
1). Extremely durable. I'm about 195 pounds, and I tried a borderline dip with one of them, and it wouldn't budge! All of the screws are thick and sturdy, too! However, studs or a similar stabilizing force must be used.
2). Super- quick (as in two-minutes) a day) delivery POW! LOL! XD
3). br>Nice colorbr>br>br>br>br>b It came with everything; There is no need to contact customer service because there is nothing missing. br>br>Cons:
1). Setup was more difficult than anticipated (see explanation below)br>2). 3) It is too costly. br> A ratchet set may also be required; **Honorable Mention** It smelt like laundry detergent and had a white, powdery substance on/in the box? I'm not sure what to make of that, but I'm getting ahead of myself. Nothing was scuffed or damaged as a result of the tight wrapping. (=br>br>As a result of the 'difficulty' in putting the shelves together, I've given it a four-star rating. Everything was in place, the brackets were in place, and all I needed to do now was put the shelves up. Because they didn't fit easily, this was the most challenging part. It was necessary for me to turn around and remove the top. Most of the screws should be on the left (for each bracket) to allow the shelves to slide in as shown in the directions. With that screw in the way, there was no way those shelves could have fit. NONE! I would have returned the shelves for a refund if I hadn't been so tired and dehydrated! I was disappointed that the instructions didn't mention it, and I hope no one else has to go through what I did. What should have taken only a few minutes took much, much longer. Five stars would have been given if everything was perfect. Unfortunately, the setup did not go as smoothly as planned. One star deducted because the instructions failed to mention that step. I looked through the other reviews and saw that no one else had mentioned it. Maybe it's just me, but I'm a DIYer who hasn't been burned out by a lot of projects. Fortunately, I tried it out and it worked perfectly: after screwing the shelves back in place, they began to slide left to right, but this was stopped after installing the smaller two-tier shelf. bracket made of screws br>br>In general, they're a lovely set of shelves. I'm excited to put them to good use; Tonight was the first time I set them up. I didn't include a picture because they're exactly like the ones on Amazon. br>br>I hope this information is useful!.
I chose these based on their appearance, customer reviews, and the fact that they are a veteran-owned business. I wasn't let down at all! br>br>Instead of the usual, cheap, teeny-tiny screws that come with shelves, use these instead. These have thick, sturdy bolts that aren't going anywhere any time soon. The brackets are both sturdy and attractive. For added security, the shelves are made of sturdy metal that snap into small divets on the brackets. We'll be ordering more of these! br>br> It comes highly recommended!.
