Several holes are available on these strips that are attached to the rack. The level you'll achieve will depend on finding the hole that gives you the closest result to perfection. I wish you the best of
A wall isn't necessary to mount it. SafeRacks have been in three of our houses now and we currently have three 4' x 8' safes in our current house. We have three driveways, two of which are against wall, and one between our 2nd and 3rd car garage bays. Our four sides give us access to it.

I believe that this was the best overhead storage system for my needs (the best part). My adjustable table came with more height adjustments than some of the other brands, and I'm able to handle more weight than I'd need. liked that they fitted together like upright shelves from gorilla or Husky with a locking pin and keyhole that you set with a mallet and then clicked together. As always, I measured a lot to ensure that the garage door was set to the correct tolerances when opened so I took my time with the assembly. It took me just over three hours to install the entire system thanks in part to a shelf system divided into four sections of two feet by four feet that I could easily drop into place. In this case, the shelves consist of a wire grid with a pair of metal ridges underneath that are welded to each wire with which it passes. (The good part)
Keeping the shelves from flexing is necessary to prevent the load from damaging them. In one of my shelves, however, the weld had broken off of about a one-foot section at the end of a ridge. It is possible that the product was damaged during Because of this, I was able to avoid putting a lot of weight on it. When I called the vendor, they replied practically instantly and promised to get me a shelf as soon as possible. The Customer Service was very quick in their communication, and appeared to be trying to do the right thing. (The bad) The Customer Service was not knowledgeable about the product. But it took about four or five emails back and forth before they were able to design a replacement shelf, and about two months to receive it.
In July, I bought 2 sets of 4x8 racks that were sitting in storage until I was able to install them, which I just did. The net on one of the wire decking units was not properly welded to the stringer, so it became loose. A problem like this could create a safety issue because it affects the stability of the part. I have attached a picture of the quality issue. You can contact us at EagleIndustrialGroup. com or support@eagleindustrialgroup. com. Com) with all the information about the product and my order requested. Despite their request for a replacement part, they did not reply - no reply, nothing. I had no contact with her In conclusion, it is definitely a good and durable product, but SafeRacks needs to improve their customer support and respond faster.
Although I'm not certain whether the rack was a result of our garage or the shelf/kit itself, it ended up taking a full 8 hours and two trips to the hardware store to assemble. Directions were not as clear as they should have been- We had a garage renovation that wasn't as smooth as I hoped, and finding studs along a very precise measurement was almost impossible. In order to match the length with our actual wall studs, we had to get several longer items at the hardware store (costing $14 each). In the end, we only used one of the shelves, but they are very huge and store a lot more than we ever expected. The retailer should give me the option to just purchase the single bottle instead of a twin pack. Now with two shelves to load locally, I have to walk miles to unload them.
There is no way we could have kept them in the garage if they had not been for these racks! I have to say, these were my husband's idea and I think they turned out very nice! The love they have for us is indescribable. By using these systems we save space that we wouldn't normally use, get stuff out of the way, and they hold up to 200 lbs. He could have put the walls up himself, so he called the company, and for a small fee, they sent a technician out to help him. No matter what, he told them where to go and he had them with him in no time! It's great to work with them. We could use more of that.
It takes a little bit of time to install, but it is a great product. The amount of beer I consume for a job is the measure of how well I do it. There must have been at least six of these. If it is installed next time, I would be willing to pay the $100.
As you say, this was not an easy installation. There's no question this is a two person job. I purchased the 2 X 8 2 rack package and a single 2 X 8. Make sure you plan ahead and pay attention to the stud location when installing the two rack set. It is easy to assemble the rest of the frame once the brackets are attached to the studs. The product is fantastic!.
I initially thought the ceiling brackets and vertical posts for all four racks were missing, so I emailed customer service. Upon further inspection, I realized those pieces had been moved to a different part of the garage and that I hadn't seen them yet. Upon contacting the seller, I received a prompt response which stated they would resolve my issue. It turned out there were just too many people moving boxes, causing their existence to be lost in the noise of the movement. I am not yet done hanging the shelves, but I will keep you posted.
The product is durable and of high quality. It took me a couple of hours to install two of these These kits are sturdy and well made, and I love the hooks that come with them. This would be a purchase I would make again and would "Measure once, drill once" is always a good rule of thumb.
