While mine picks up some bypass traffic, I'm fine with that because if someone drives by your house frequently, I can only hope it will pick up on the vehicle.
Yes, it will. It will detect the dual band and connect to the appropriate one automatically.
I'm sorry, but the Toucan does not have a SD card slot.
Yes, you must first reset it, after which you should be able to change the time stamp!

Everything went smoothly enough, but there were two things I was disappointed to learn after the first 30 days: br>You can only share this service with yourself; no one else in the family can use the app on their phone unless you pay for the Pro Package, which costs $3 a month and allows you to add another person in your household to the service. I would not have chosen this Door Bell Ringer if I had known this; it offers you free cloud storage to watch any motion detection that is sensed; after 30 days, you are simply shut down from watching any motion detection. Motion sensors are used to capture data that is then uploaded to the cloud. At the moment, SD cards are not an option. We're now stuck in a pay-or-play situation, with the best case scenario being a broken intercom system. Welcome to Corporate America, I normally don't write negative reviews, but I did my research before purchasing this Doorbell Video Recorder because I figured a doorbell recorder would be ideal with all the deliveries coming to my parents' house and the rising crime rate for stolen packages. I use Wyze video at home, but they don't have a doorbell ringer video recorder. On the plus side, the recordings are HD resolution (1080p), very clear, and the night vision, if you pay the monthly fee, works to some extent. You'll save money if you buy a device that can record to an SD card as well as store videos in the cloud. br>Aside from that, it's been working well, and Mom seems to enjoy the doorbell notifications. Although three dollars a month for cloud coverage isn't bad, it's the principle that matters to me, and I can't allow myself to be a part of the system that keeps the wheels of injustice turning!.
I recently purchased the Toucan Wireless Doorbell and was very excited about a few features that appear to be very promising when compared to Ring. I currently have the original Ring as my primary doorbell, but the motion detection and video are terrible due to the location where Ring was installed. This is my initial impression of this product:br>br>Packaging: br>Br>Installation: br>Installation: br>Installation: br>Installation: br>Installation: br>Installation: br>Installation: br>Installation: br>Easy to understand and follow. The installation of a doorbell does necessitate the use of some tools, as stated in the instructions. Adding the product through the iPhone app is simple, and it can be set up in under 10 minutes. br>br>Application: br>br>Application: br>application: application: br>This wireless doorbell is ready to use right away. The video is extremely clear and wide. The fisheye effect is to be expected because the lens is 180 degrees. When compared to Ring, the motion sensor works well, though there is some false detection. The doorbell is loud and clear, but remember to remove the plastic wrapping from the chime. br>br>Video quality is better than Ring during the day, but they are on par for low-light images. Isn't it true that you can't really ask for a great video if there isn't enough light? I installed a sensor flood light, so if someone approaches my door late at night, I can still get a good video. In comparison to Ring, the Battery Life is excellent. Unless you connect Ring to a wire, Toucan has a 3x longer battery life than Ring, even with some false alarms. br>br>App for iPhone: br>The iPhone app is simple to use and navigate, and it allows for video to be viewed much faster than the Ring doorbell. The only reason I gave it a four-star rating is because I couldn't delete the events during my testing because the app wouldn't let me. I tried several times and discovered that only video clips can be deleted; doorbell events, however, remained in the event even after they were deleted. br>br>Affiliated Services: br>br>Affiliated Services: br>b br>With Ring doorbell, you have a 30-day trial period with cloud storage and other features, but with Toucan, some features, such as Siren duration, are a paid subscription service. I'd like to try these features to see if I need them before I subscribe; this area is in desperate need of improvement. br>br>Overall, it's a good product, particularly when it comes to 180-degree HD video in daylight. You can see where the package was left when it arrived at your door. The camera can be turned on faster than the Ring (which is a big plus because I despise having to wait 30 seconds for video like Arlo). br>It's clear that the iPhone app could be better. Toucan has taken the place of my Ring at the front door, and I plan to keep using it.
We finally found a wireless video doorbell that we absolutely adore! I like that it's battery operated, and I was able to easily hang it from my doorframe. I was able to set it up myself and have it start showing footage on my phone in a short amount of time, thanks to the Toucan app, which is easy to use and walks you through the process step by step. I also appreciate that the wireless chime is included in the package rather than having to buy it separately! I have a two-year-old who keeps me busy, so it's nice to hear the doorbell ring if someone is at the door or see notifications on my phone that something is going on near my house. The chime has six different sounds, and my child enjoys hearing them all. It has everything I'm looking for at such a low price; it's an incredible value for all of the features and overall quality.
This week, I installed a wireless video doorbell in my home, and I'm really enjoying it! We don't have a doorbell and are looking for a doorbell camera that does not require hardwiring to an existing doorbell. It was very simple to install, and we had it up on our door frame in minutes thanks to the included screws and tape. It was extremely convenient not to have to deal with any complicated wiring or lengthy installation. I didn't realize how important having the 180 degree angle was until it was installed because we can now see packages directly beneath the camera and against the door, which is great because we order so much online, and it's nice to be able to check my phone to see if it's still there throughout the day if we're away at work. Another feature that I enjoy is the included wireless chime. We have it in our kitchen so that if someone comes to the door and we don't have our phone with us or miss the notification, we can still hear the chime. There are six different sounds to choose from, so it's fun to switch it up.
