As a result, I wanted to write a review so that people would not be discouraged from reading Lettering is straight, bold, and visible enough to mimic a book that you might see in a drawer with clothes ( I put mine in a drawer with my clothes ) or One key is with me at all times, while the other is hidden. I like the fact that it contains two keys (not locked inside). A few money orders and cash can be stored inside an envelope with sufficient room for a tablet, birth certificate and a few money orders. The product was convincing enough for two of my friends to purchase If you leave it out in the open at all, it will scare anyone but if it's built from sturdy metal and hidden from sight, I feel like my items are protected. Further, my receipt for my postal money orders is in a locked location, so if it is lost or stolen, I get a refund. There is no seal, so I placed the important items first in a zip-lock bag to prevent water from getting in. I am definitely recommending it, since I have already done so for a price like this. I was surprised at how well this device performed for just $13.
I purchased them originally as they are fine, but I decided to re-do them with some updates. Due to the fact that they were dictionaries their dust jackets are different sizes from those from similar size books I got at a thrift store because I thought they might stick out Given the availability of the internet nowadays, how many people even own a printed dictionary anymore? There is an opening on the front cover of the book safe to slide in a new dust jacket sleeve, but the back cover of the safe is glued to the bottom, so it cannot be removed. With a putty knife, I was able to pry apart the back cover so that the new dust jacket sleeve could be slipped Reattaching the back cover to the bottom was still possible, because the glue was still tacky enough. We are able to blend our book safes in much better with the other books on our shelves.
If I were looking for a way to hide small valuables, I definitely would purchase them. As I read several reviews, I was a little concerned about the books looking fake to me. It is a safe if the pages don't look like real pages, but if you open the flap it looks like a fake book. In my opinion, most people will not just leave these lying around on their The pictures do not make them appear real. If you look at them on the shelf, you cannot tell that they are fakes. This group is positioned on the bottom row, and then we see closeup of the row with the four people lining up as close as possible. As well as the locks, there was criticism. Locks do not even get used by me. Taking this off the shelf, seeing that it is a safe, a thief sees that it is a copy of a book - a thief would be deterred It doesn't matter whether there is a lock on the book, it won't be there when you return. Comparative analysis of several books There are four of these hidden book safes that I bought. My book shelf seemed cluttered with four of the same book because it seemed ridiculous to have four copies of the same book. As a result, I have laid them both out next to each other so that you can see the differences. There is no difference in length or width between each book however, the Paris book is definitely deeper than the other two. It was not one of the couple who felt, but another. This does not diminish the importance of the film. Other felt pieces were of cheaper quality and did not adhere well to the metal shell (but they still served their The benefit that I noticed with all the books is that although they are similar in size, each book appears to be a different size from the outside, creating a more realistic look. *br
RESULT OF THE It doesn't seem that there was any difference in quality among the four I purchased, but I do think the one that is deeper might justify a higher price however, the others were exactly the same in quality. The only one is The book I purchased was the cheapest of the four I bought. It's a great buy, especially at this.
I think maybe. sides are made out of plastic and fake paper that looks unreal Picture of the book cover shows it to be real (see below). The burglar may not notice what this is if he runs through your home In spite of this, if this book were to sit on your book shelf next to regular books for a long period of time, anyone could instantly discern its difference.
Overall, I believe that if it is positioned properly on your shelf, it will perform its function.
It is simple to use, which is probably the main pro. If I have cash on hand, I like to have it at hand, but on my way out of the house I sometimes need it quickly, so I don't want to keep it You can use it for junk silver or for that. The box would be excellent for storing sentimental items that you would like to wear periodically and that you want to keep out of the jewelry box that screams, "take me!" Also, the large size is big enough to hold a handgun, which could be used for self-defense in an emergency Keeping it out of the hands of children at home provides protection. Since I don't have any living with me, I keep the key nearby but not out in the open. My primary concern would be where to find the key if I was a parent of mischievous children. This book serves as a deterrent when locked so that the kids do not get inside.
I also have a small safe, but the safe is more obviously something with valuables inside, so it seems safer than the book.
