I purchased them originally as they are fine, but I decided to re-do them with some updates. Due to the fact that they were dictionaries their dust jackets are different sizes from those from similar size books I got at a thrift store because I thought they might stick out Given the availability of the internet nowadays, how many people even own a printed dictionary anymore? There is an opening on the front cover of the book safe to slide in a new dust jacket sleeve, but the back cover of the safe is glued to the bottom, so it cannot be removed. With a putty knife, I was able to pry apart the back cover so that the new dust jacket sleeve could be slipped Reattaching the back cover to the bottom was still possible, because the glue was still tacky enough. We are able to blend our book safes in much better with the other books on our shelves.
