Dear Sir or Madam, the book safe is not soundproof. It's a ruse box for concealing small valuables.

I keep my medication in this lock box because I have a lot of visitors. I never imagined I'd have to buy a lock box for my meds, and whoever took them was probably very upset that there was nothing good! They now sit in front of all of my books, where I can see them at all times, in a clever disguise.
The key works even when I'm simulating a threatening situation, so I keep my ready gun in this safe and place two books on top of it on my night stand. It's a perfect fit for my 9mm. In the future, I would purchase another and display it on a book shelf. From a distance, it appears to be a book.
When placed on a bookshelf, it blends in nicely. To discover its secrets, a potential thief would almost certainly have to be a thorough searcher. However, once you have it in your hands, it is immediately apparent what it is. Because the 'pages' are made of rigid white plastic, they appear fake and suspicious when viewed on a shelf. Furthermore, due to the nature of the design (since it is intended to be stored vertically), you may be limited in terms of what you can actually store in terms of fragile items, etc. Despite this, it is still a smart item for the price and could make a great gift! br>br>Overall design gets a one-star rating. It's good, but there's room for improvement. Maybe round the spine a little, or add a dust jacket like a real hardcover book? Making the 'pages' look a little more real would also help with the ruse.
It looks exactly like the picture and sits nicely on my bookshelf alongside other historical books from various cities and periods. The site's dimensions are all accurate, and it's about the same height as a standard hardcover. To be honest, I'm using this as a storage compartment for small items that I want to keep but don't want to clutter up the house (pictures, small keepsakes), so the safe feature is more of a bonus than a requirement. Nonetheless, the item came with a key, as promised, and the lock is simple to turn. All of the security features appear to be solid and well-made. made. Is it possible for me to open this door? It's not like a bank vault, so I might be able to do it. But I'd have to look for it first, which is part of what makes this item so fantastic.
After a few months, they usually begin to fall apart on the book's bridge. I sincerely hope this is not the case. I got a few compliments on this one, to be honest. People are now able to see them from a distance of 6 feet.
It appears to be exactly as shown in the picture and performs satisfactorily. My only criticism is that it is extremely thick, even when compared to a traditional book. I'd say this is more for your own peace of mind, especially if you share a room.
It's an excellent hiding spot. The one with two keys was the one I chose. Years ago, I bought a combination safe and couldn't figure out how to change the code. Because the book and metal safe inside aren't very sturdy, it wouldn't be heard if it was broken into. If you require another unit, do so. Overall, I think it'll be useful as a hidden safe in my RV.
I haven't tried using it as a decoy storage device yet. For the time being, I keep it hidden and use it as a safety deposit box. So I like to use it as a storage security box! Large enough to hold a deck of cards as well as some cash. br>Keys are similar to the decoys found in other book security boxes. At the very least, unlike a piggy bank, this one does not have a slit. br>Unless I blocked the slit with an index card, my small Dictionary version with a slit was useless. Bills can be pryed out of the slit with force.
