Every time I get a visitor I fill up the lock box with my medication. I never imagined I would have to have a lock box for my medications, and I'm sure whoever took them was terribly upset not to find anything edible! As long as they are tucked away somewhere I can easily see them, it's still a great disguise!.
They provide a high level of security at a relatively low price, so I'm a fan of these camouflage safes. It blends well into a shelf when it is arranged this way. For a potential thief to discover its secrets, he or she would probably have to be very thorough in their search. Having said that, one can easily tell what it is after holding it in the hand. It has rigid white plastic 'pages,' making it appear quite fake and suspicious if it is shown to a person. Also, due to the nature of the design (since it's meant to be stored vertically), you may be limited to what you can store in terms of fragile items, etc. Despite that, it's still a clever item for the price and makes a great gift idea! The overall design gets a minus one star. This is a good start, but it could be so much Would it make sense to round the spine a little? Or add a dust jacket like a real hardcover? To further enhance the ruse, the pages could also be made to look more authentic.
This book is exactly as pictured, and it is a good accompaniment to other historical books about different places and time periods on my bookshelf. This book stands about the same height as a standard hardcover, and the dimensions described on this site coincide with reality. The object I intend to use this thing for is objects that I want to keep but don't want to have cluttering up my house (e. g. , pictures and small items), so the safe feature is rather a bonus feature than something I need. However, the item did come with a key as advertised on the website, and the lock has no trouble turning. Depending on how you look at them, all of the security components seem sturdy and well-designed Does this lock allow me to pick it? That might be possible, since it isn't like a bank vault. Creating a product like this would be great, but I would have to find it first, which is what makes it so genius.
It wasn't that long ago that they started falling apart on the bridge of the book. The ones I received on this one were mostly compliments. These days, people enjoy checking them out from a distance of six feet.
During a threat simulation, I keep my ready gun in this safe and place two books on top of it on my night stand. The key works, even when the alarm goes off. I can use it with my 9mm with no problems. My plan is to buy another in the future and place on a book self-publishing platform. When you look at it from a distance, it actually looks like a book.
My camouflaged mini-scope is ideal for hunting My checkbook and petty cash are safely stashed in the safe in order to keep others from seeing them. As long as I don't have to fiddle with a combination lock, it works for me because I have many books on the shelf where it fits in easily and remains innocuous, and uses a key that stays on my key chain. Its metal construction makes me think it will hold up to a fire. Another one I gave to my nephew who uses it to store his small savings and important identification. In short, yes. My favorite part about this product is its ease of use.
Only complaint is that it is so thick, even when compared to a real If you live with roommates, I'd suggest this to be more for peace of mind.
The hiding place works well as a hiding spot. There were two keys included in the one that I bought. Years ago I bought a combination safe to keep money safe, but I couldn't ever get the new combination reprogrammed. The books inside as well as the metal safe are not very sturdy, and thus it would be tricky to get in. Again, if it is what you need, then invest in a different unit. Generally, I think this will make an excellent hidden safe for my RV when traveling.
