When I tried it on, I decided not to use it and returned it to the customer. However, I am unable to comment on the FR aspect or the suitability side of things, but I can comment on the fitting and sizing. The shape of The torso is more roomy so it is intended for those with barrel chests or who need more room. When you wear this type of clothing, it will feel like a tent, since it is tailored. The size of my shoulders and upper arms used to be a small for most regular retail clothing brands, but now I can fit into a medium after I started working out and gradually gained muscle. My medium fit like a kimono I could wrap the two halves neatly across my chest, before finishing them on either side of my rib cage. I would also be able to see part of my hands through the sleeves. It was an irritating and distracting feeling, however, to feel so sloppy and loose. I ended up returning this shirt and going with another one available here by 'bulwark' that was a little more expensive, but a better fit (still not perfect, but better).
The snaps of this bag are sturdy. The shirt is very nice overall for a welding shirt. I wear a size I was looking for a dress shirt that was 5 x 34" and I found this to be very flexible. In fact, my son has worn it as well, and he is more like a much skinnier large size, and he also likes the fit of this shirt. It has a long tail that is good I only have it for 3 months, but I love how it feels. If you removed the stitches before the first wash, nobody would ever know that there was a black stallion logo on the arm. However, I wish it didn't have that 50 cent piece sized logo on the arm. I guess it may be fair to fault them for advertising, for a shirt that is built for that purpose. Unlike an embroidered shirt, this is not appliquéd.
As a pipeline repairman and a power plant maintenance technician, I have used these on both. They hold up to both excellent 10/10 even with xx010 rods.
I wear these for all of my shipyard work. The summertime, I wear them over a light tee shirt. In the fall, I wear them over long sleeve shirts. They are warm enough to be worn over a sweater during the winter. It is versatile and provides adequate protection except for overhead welding where leather will be required. A new button is added when the normal wear and tear causes the button to rip. It is nice to have five in the summer so each day I have something new.
This item has been worn for almost a month now, and I can't tell how much it's All threads and stitching are perfectly stitched, not a burnt out end to be seen. There will definitely be more of these in the future.

The price was okay. My husband wears a large and it was a bit big on him, but he still loves it as it fits great under short johns. The clothes were cleaned and dried, and they look.
