A pleasure to wear the jacket because of its fit and comfort. The way I use it is in order to not be run over while walking the dogs. The jacket I bought fits like an X large on me and the size of my shirt and t shirt are large. It's best to go one size up like I did to ensure that the thing hangs properly under two or three layers. A coat that looks like it might cost 70 or 80 dollars costs around 40 dollars.

I think it's a terrific product, the size is perfect and the hi visibility stripes are nicely placed. There is no excessive weight to the jacket. As a result of its shape, I thought it was a heavy coat like a Carhartt. Although it's lighter and warmer than a Carhartt, it still keeps you warm. Fuel is a must-have item for my husband, who works for a railroad. He loves that it is an all-in-one product. The vest can be thrown over a t-shirt and will not need to be added to over it. During the winter months, he stays warm and dry when he wears it. Raincoats are usually plastic, but this one has a better quality and breaths more than that.

I was expecting something much less quality for $40 but I wanted a bomber style jacket with a quilted nylon inner liner instead of a fleece one and there weren't many options (across any brand) with nylon liners available. It is much easier to put on and take off a nylon coat than a fleece one. It does not slide as easily over clothing as fleece does. Winters in New England are cold, but this coat will keep you warm. It has good quality materials, too. A medium weight outer shell nylon would be my description The material is not as heavy or as rugged as one might find on a high-end coat, but it is certainly not cheap or flimsy. Despite the lack of 3M Scotchlite, the reflective material is still useable, and the coat meets the requirements for There is no detachable hood, and the item is not insulated and water resistant (no insulation). The overall quality of this coat is not what you would find in a $350 or $450 coat, but in any case, you cannot go wrong at that price and I personally consider the lighter weight material to be more desirable. This jacket was very nice jacket, kept me warm on the first day I had it. I got this jacket in November and it was very cold that day. Wind is blown away by the jacket's outer covering, and I can easily clean it. Another co-worker asked if I could take a picture My coworker commented the following morning with amazement that my jacket was so clean after cutting fertilizer that day. My favorite part is that the bottom is black so nothing shows up on it. Update I bought another one 2 years later.

The jacket is pretty nice for the price. I am 6'2" 250 lbs and wear a 2x shirt, so I got the 2x rain jacket. It fits well over my t shirt and keeps me nice and warm when we go for dog walks at night. The outer pockets are lined with a thin fleece fabric and come with a zipper and are pretty warm for the winter. It almost makes me feel bad that I put a nice bag of dog poop in them. I stayed dry while ensuring that I appeared very visible to passing cars in my neighborhood because of my jacket. It is not that I can say much about the hood as I have not used it yet, but it exists. When you bend over to pick up poop, the waist band will ride up on you, but when you pull it back down after standing again, it stays in place and prevents the wind from blowing through it. The overall experience I had with my purchase was great.

Let me begin by saying that I agree with some It isn't stitched well 1) the stitching is cheap. 2) This is a great jacket for the price.

Now on to size. I'm 6'2" and 210 lbs, and usually wear an xl. Based on the reviews, I decided to order a XL. I do have long arms and although the sleeves are not huge on me, they do seem long. A size XL would have been fine for me.
