Is it necessary to use batteries or can it be powered solely by the sun?

The solar panel and the battery work in tandem. The initial welding arc is only powered for a few seconds by the battery. After that, the solar power system's entire process begins.
- When the batteries run out, the low battery indicator will illuminate, indicating that it is time to replace them. The battery should last around 800 hours in most cases.br>- Keep the lenses in a dark, dry environment when not in use to ensure that they last as long as possible.

We weld process pipe at our facility, as shown in the video, and arc strikes are a no-no, so this lens is ideal. It's very clear, and the switching speed is extremely quick; I didn't even have to blink when striking. The fact that the shade can be adjusted is something I really appreciate.
