The best welding hood I've ever seen
5/5

The Miller Digital Elite has been in my possession for a few months now and I feel like I'm qualified to give my honest opinion on the gadget. Welding outside for work is what I do in the summer for weeks. During two solid months of welding, grinding, and cutting with this hood, I put in 8 hour days. I bought the Millier Classic I had to get my welding certifications a few years ago and am far more satisfied with this model. With the Digital Elite, you can adjust the viewing window much more precisely, change modes according to what you're doing, and see your videos much better. In order to grind or cut, there are modes for those tasks. This tool can do both of those tasks proficiently. Together with all of the other features, the XMode was one of the hood's biggest selling points for me. Most of the time, I'm welding in an unusual position and partially obstructed from my view. The hood darkens instantly when you hit an arc, even when the sensors are blocked. You just need to make sure your sensitivity is set correctly for the distance from where you are working. flashed, but I was welding something that was far from my view, so I was stretching as much as I could while partially blocking my view. I was able to improve the performance of the hood by increasing sensitivity. There aren't enough good things to say It was very comfortable even after 8 hours of wearing it It is like welding in high definition when you view the HD screen 10 hours a day. It is amazing how far technology has come. As well as easy to maintain, this hood has an easy to replace parts. I can still smile with my face on six All day, the smoke barely made its way past the gasket because it was located 12" away from the work. There is just one thing I don't like about this hood the suspension system for the head gear. The sleeves are extremely comfortable, however, I feel like they begin to come loose after a while, causing me to tuck it in and tighten it repeatedly throughout To compensate for these high costs, I look at this as a small price to pay for the excellent performance of the hood in every other aspect of my welding work. Plus, I can always swap out the head gear for something else if I want to. The Digital Infinity or this hood is definitely a good option for anyone looking to upgrade or replace what they have. With this hood and the Digital Infinity, the only difference is the size of the viewing window. Also, the Digital Infinity has a clock with alarm and can track how long you weld as well as giving a digital display with detailed explanations of each mode. My decision to purchase the Elite was based on the fact that I did not need all the extras and the viewing window is plenty large.

I'll take that
3/5

The attempt fails. So, since it is time to upgrade from the Harbor Freight lid, I thought I would get My favorite feature of the device is the view and the adjustability, as well as the fact that my eyesight is probably protected. It's not like I don't care- This thing is unbalanced and heavy, and I'm surprised it hasn't fallen over yet with how hard I have to turn the side knobs to get it to stay up when I need it to. I'm not sure whose melon this is supposed to fit, but I have every strap at its tightest setting and it falls off my head all day. Making sure that you lower the tension every time you put the knob on or take it off adds unnecessary steps to the fabrication procedure. Sidenote They are approximately if you use the magnification lens. Since they have a 5x larger diameter than they are labeled, if you wear 1, you need to wear 2. They aren't read by more than 5 times per month. It was disappointing to get a name like Miller, but it looks like I will continue using my.

Welding hoods from Miller are outstanding
5/5

I have used many of their fixed lens welding hoods and also used one other welding hood that automatically dimmed. Among the many features I like about the Miller Digital Elite hood is the ability to adjust the head strap, the ability to remove the entire front lens assembly for cleaning or changing lenses, as well as the ability to change There's an exclusive welding option on the hood, called XMode, that I haven't seen in other auto darkening hoods. The most popular option for me is this one. It is very effective to use the Miller ClearLight Lens technology. This is absolutely a product that I would definitely buy again and that I would highly recommend.

I like the clarity you've provided
5/5

It is a hard decision between the Lincoln 3350 and this. It was the first time I had used a 3350, and I was very pleased. It was a hassle reading and trying out the Miller Digital Elite before I decided to go with this system. It has been a pleasure to use and I am very pleased with the build quality. From Amazon, I was able to purchase a Miller Digital Elite Camera in Canada. As well, I could buy the Lincoln 3350 for much less than I could. It was sealed at that point.

The lens is excellent
3/5

The lens on this hood is amazing, and I also appreciate the fact that it is quite flexible. I think it would win a race against my Speedglas because of the clear, crisp images it produces. I use it with all my cheater lenses without any problems. The Speedglas is lighter and smaller for tight places, and it is easier to work with. A head gear is what gave it three out of five stars. As much as I like the head gear, it doesn't always return to the same spot on my head when I take it off, so I must constantly adjust it whenever I put it back on. Speedglas is better than its counterparts, so I would buy another one if I had to do it over again. No, there is nothing wrong with this hood, but unlike the Speedglas it lacks personality.

There is no way to describe the clarity of vision you will experience
5/5

It is difficult to believe that after all these years of welding with a primitive flip-down hood, I was getting the right amount of metal on the surface. By using this thing, you can take a look at The automatic helmet (hood) I bought recently was brand new. An upgrade of this caliber was needed. Despite that, it did not last. I was told it was cheap and wouldn't last. To finish a project, I had to use my old school hood. It was awful after using the automatic one. I decided to spend the money and get a good hood after having a difficult time using the old school I have never seen such a thing before. This product is very easy to use, you can actually see what you are doing as you work. It's only the head gear that's bad. A lot of engineering went into this and it's hard to put on and take The liner may be replaced with another one.

It's a great helmet, and the Xmode feature is extremely convenient
5/5

Since I have only been a welder for a short time, this is the first "professional" grade hood I've owned. I have been using the device for the past month or so, and I am really impressed with its ease of use and comfort. Since I bought this helmet en route to getting my first TIG welder, I have been able to learn so much more quickly and with less frustration than I have with any other helmet I have used so far. I use Xmode every day and am very pleased with the functionality offered by this hood. When I am in xmode, I never get flashed and unless there is an arc present, I am never flashed while wearing this helmet.
