There is one. However, I have to say that this is by far the best helmet for the price! The software doesn't seem to be causing any problems.
W/grind is mentioned in the product description on Amazon. Is there something else you meant?
The battery pack requires two AAA batteries

To feel safer with a higher-quality helmet than a cheaper one is worth the extra money. As a welder, I don't have much experience. Every now and then, I do some welding, and I can do a decent weld when needed. In the past, I owned an Antra helmet with specs similar to this helmet. There was a problem with the system. It would not darken quickly and would turn off suddenly. Although this helmet is solid, it does not feel Despite being wide and comfortable, the band does not rub against the skin. I give my nod - It doesn't take much effort to drop. There is a very good view from the undimmed side, slightly brighter than that from The arc light without dimming is like an undimmed room light that seamlessly transitions to a It is impossible to see the arc when it is In addition to using standard batteries, it is easy to replace the batteries and it also uses standard batteries. It was much easier to replace these flat batteries than the Antra, which used coin batteries and was absolutely awful to open up. * I compared the Antra with the Antra because it was less than half the price and that was more attractive to someone who welded occasionally. While I'm not the biggest fan of Lincoln Electric helmets, I should have bought this one the first time. Although the price is beyond what I wanted to pay, I feel much safer in this helmet.
1- I am giving this an A- There is a one-star review because the helmet did not arrive with all of its In the listing it states that the helmet comes with "2 extra inside and outside impact resistant clear lenses. ". In the box, it says two AAA batteries are included along with two extra lenses. ". It did not come with anything, and it was not even equipped with a user manual. It was a shame that the seller did not include batteries and lenses with the sale. This is what the seller (O2) said We regret to inform you that the helmet does not include A solar lens powered by the light is found in the seller's description
Unfortunately, this is entirely inaccurate. Because I supplied my own AAA batteries and installed them in the battery compartment inside my helmet, I know. It was not mentioned that there were no lenses in the package. It is also my guess that he would say the helmet has no lenses. (You'll have to provide your own batteries)
The helmet works fine. The problem is that not getting what you paid for can be very frustrating. A seller who provides incorrect information as a result of a support request is doubly aggravating -- since the seller then refuses to help the customer.
If you would rather not buy a cheap Forney helmet from your parts guy that will not last and has no replacement battery, then spend a little more on this model. Using a name brand you can trust If you're just welding two parts You only need this once or twice a month Lid is light but it protects well and does not feel like a bowling ball on your head field of view is not huge but guys just let someone else do your welding if you can't see it.
It's simple and affordable and has an automatic dimming knob on the outside! I prefer this over the inner control because it makes switching from grinding to welding so much easier, and I work in a rock quarry so I'm not around a lot of cleanliness. Keeping dirt and mud out of your hood is a great way to keep it clean! I like the way it works. There is a tiny view slot on the left side but I can manage to live with that.
As it came out of the box, there were tiny pits on the ADF lens. LE advised me to go back for a second copy. As the box of the first one was in almost two pieces, this is the second one.
It was a tough decision between this and the yeswelder hood that looked a little fancier, had a bigger window, etc. It was roughly the same price. It was a worthwhile decision to go with Lincoln. This hood is very nice for the price. This software has all the functions you need and none you don't need. In case you find yourself in a similar situation, I suggest you go with a dependable brand like Lincoln. I do not think there is anything better on the budget market than Lincoln.
Despite being lightweight and reasonably comfortable, this welding helmet provides excellent protection It seems to be This helmet has been on my head 2 nights a week for the past 2 months (I'm taking classes). I am a beginner welder, so this helmet has definitely suffered a lot of abuse, but it has held up remarkably well for me.
You can set your helmet from the inside out so that it is light and adjusts as needed so that you don't have to fiddle around with it.
