The color blue is the real thing
I have never been a fan of Lincoln hoods, but this one is much clearer than my Optrel, Speed glass, and Miller elite. The workers who do use Lincoln hoods seem impressed with the clarity of Esab's vision.
That is all I do, I am a migration specialist
Sure, there's a cover on it.

Now I am seeing what I had been blind to. It is impossible to express the joy and wonder of this experience in words. Based on the reviews I had seen, I decided to give this product a shot after using Miller pro series for years. They seemed a bit excessive at first, now they seem modest. The boots are of excellent quality, very light, and very I can now attest that, when I saw someone write, "it was as if the lights had been turned on", it was really meaningful. As a welder, I rarely write reviews, but you will need this if you are a seasoned pro.
In the process of looking for a new hood, I spent a lot of time shopping. Choosing this one was easy and I'm glad I made this choice. During my 10 hours of welding, I tig weld thin stainless 90% of the time with my hood down. The hood is excellent and I would suggest you buy it if you're thinking about it. A few pros It doesn't sit way over your head when flipped up
It's comfortable even though it's heavier
Nice strong stiff shell
*Cons you are welding, your gaze cannot be focused directly on the work (you are moving quickly, you don't need to turn your head), and a glare appears The same is true of all curved lenses, according to me. I don't think it's a big deal as long as you look at the arc directly. I could see my breath on the touch screen when the hood was down when it was brand new. Additionally, when welding it is noticeable, but it is not a big deal. The dust seemed to stop after it got a little dusty. Due to the fact that the outside lens is flush with the body, it will scratch if we put it down face down.
I like the helmet very much. For those doing anything that is HOT or can't weld within two feet of their faces, this may not be the right tool for them. The FCAW lenses never warp when I weld FCAW, and my head is usually 12 inches away from the welding surface while I weld FCAW The nearest thing I have seen in 18 inches! The rest of the hood is a great product. There are just too many lenses that are too pricey, and no one I've ever worked with carries that particular brand of lens.
Honestly, I really want to give it a 4 star rating, but it deserves 5 stars because it offers amazing clarity and true color. You will feel like God himself is palming your head just before a free throw dunk for Jordan. The only slight downfall is that due to the lease's nature of being somewhat of a fish eye lens, it becomes distorted when moving your head during welding. There is not much to it you just have to get used to it and understand what's It's hard to argue with the fact that this hoodie.
It is really not worth the money spent on this helmet considering it has a dome shaped lens that must be replaced at an expense. When I was tig welding one time, the lens on the cover melted and it is a bad-looking helmet, but if you buy an auto darkening, you will have the same result.
Since I was in the market for a new hood, I checked out the reviews, and I already love the Halo style helmets (long live Halo 3 Years). I was a little skeptical about the huge outside cover lens, but they are very durable and very easy to clean. Honestly, I can't stop staring at it. The weld is a nice shade of blue and you can really see more of the weld area around it as well. There was one thing my Miller could never provide me with enough perspective of what lies The price was well worth it!.
10 months later, I must say that I still think the Sentinel welding helmet is one of the best on the market. The outer polycarbonate shield scratches easily. I am not one to throw my helmet around, but it happens. It is not a big deal considering I still have one yellow shield and one clear shield (2/2) that come with it after 10 months of use in an A great set of 5 packs here to keep you going for a long time. Quantity and quality of the product are both wonderful. The harness can be custom fitted to meet your needs, so it will grip your head any way you need it to. As it is lightweight, I often forget it is there while walking around the shop, it is comfortable, and it doesn't stick in the air like a normal glove and hit everywhere as if I were crawling in welding positions. Just keep it in a bright room so the battery is charged, and you're good to go. Electronics are very easy to set up and use.
Buy this helmet and you will be able to make better welds. In either position, I find this helmet so comfortable that I often forget that it is on. On a few occasions, I've found myself flicking it down to strike up, but I was not wearing it. This helmet is like welding in high definition. I went from a worn-out auto helmet to this new one. The welds would be so far out of my reach that I would have to shine halogen lights right at the welds. Nowadays, I am looking at things that are about 3 or 4 inches away The other night I was stick welding some panels into the back of a dump truck bed, and I saw like three or four moths die when they flew toward the The thing looks cool as hell too, so you don't even need to be an excellent welder, and you will be a hit with all the chicks when you mention you are an astronaut as well. I can be a little uneasy if other people are welding around me if you were to twist my arm and make me offer one complaint. My helmet will go dim pretty easily, but to be honest I haven't tweaked the sensitivity-adjustment settings at all, so I'm sure it's easy to fix. My helmet was outdated a long time ago, and I am really annoyed at myself for not upgrading it sooner.
