It has dimensions of 5, according to the measurements. Four by eight is eight by four. I'm not happy with the fact that it doesn't cover the entire viewing area
There is a little difference between the thickness of the lens and the frame. Three-eighths of an inch thick is the frame. Currently, I am using a Tack Life automatic watering system I wanted a helmet that would darken, and this would work perfectly.
My experiences with these are great, and I am extremely pleased with them. Looking at the lens in your hand, the mid point(side to side) separates the 'ocular' - it's an awesome sight! The welding job I did is very straight and free from distortion, regardless of angle / position - this is installed -

The situation has the potential to change everything. Having been over 40 for a long time, I have had my good and bad days A TIG welder who is old and amateurish. There were days when I found my welds to be excellent, and other days I was sorely I have found that the key to it is that my eyes become tired every once in a while. A good weld can be seen perfectly if there are no obstructions to the weld. I am not confident in the results if I can only see the weld "kind of. ". Consider this along with a clamp light or two that have LEDs. You will be able to focus on all the other stuff (speed, temperature, etc) and keep your tungsten at just the right height if your welds are easy to see.
A four-dollar bill. How can you possibly be serious? As a result of too much suffering, I decided to get a cheater lens. It's common for me to wear safety glasses under my hood, but they slide around and are never at the right In other words, even if I had corrective lenses in my glasses, everything seemed to be blurred. Having the money to try these was enough to convince me to do so. It consists of two parts. The hood of the Speedglas 0 lens fits perfectly with this lens. The Speedglas I have isn't mine. I used a Tweco lens hood for this lens, and it worked fine. Getting in was a little tight, but that was the kind of feeling I was expecting. Many of the problems I have heard about are due to the lens being too loose or not staying in. This one has no such problems. This is a very well-made product. The focus is sharp and extremely clear. Plastic rim is smooth and free of rough spots. The polish on this is very good. The lens is available in a variety of strengths. If you don't need two, feel free to choose another one instead. A 1 can be used instead of a 0. If you get a 5 or a 3, you're good. (0 or another number. Despite my frustrations, I am very pleased with the outcome. Considering is also important. It costs $4 to get all this. If you can find a better deal at your local welding supply store, then go for it. Even for the cheapest thing they have. Since I already have a waiting list, go ahead and There is no way to make this happen. This is more expensive than any fountain drink or cup of coffee I have ever seen. The value is extraordinary, so this is a definite 5 star product! These are so reasonable that I might purchase a couple more just because I like them so much. (Sorry, not really, but you get the point. Check these out if you need or wish to add a cheater lens to your hood. There is no need to worry about being.
Here are the big questions Is it a cheater lens in the helmet or a pair of When it comes to TIG welding, there is no right or wrong answer. My reading glasses are 2x, but for TIG I need 4x, so I put 2x cheaters in my Harbor Freight Vulcan helmet from 3M. I am pleased with the fit and function of these products.
These magnifying inserts have helped me spot small cracks and holes when I was welding, and they have made the process easier. As of yet, I don't have a prescription reading lens, but I'm working on it. I love my 3 M insert glasses.
I purchased this after hearing another reviewer recommend it. My $40 fits in the pocket. This helmet fits perfectly on an Antra 00. No shim material needs to be added to the sides of the Yeswelder helmet.
Exactly what I wanted, fits perfectly in my that my welding glasses are right on the lens, it is very easy to see. I don't need to juggle glasses while welding. Exactly what I was looking for.
The welding school I am attending is for people 51 years or older. As part of the school's athletic program, we get ArcOne helmets and hoods. As I could not see clearly, I could not wear reading glasses. When you raise your hood, you feel like Mr. Magoo since you can only see 2x without the 2x magnifying safety glasses. It's definitely not safe to do that. got the kit and what a great product it is. I intend to get a second one just in case I need one in the future We want to be prepared in case anything happens. This is a great product from an even better.
I was very happy with the results! My reading glasses don't fog up as often as I used to, so this works out quite well for As a new user of reading glasses, it is frustrating to keep looking for them, and then it is a nightmare to have them fog up when welding, so these are a godsend to.
