The hat I found on this site caught my eye as I was looking for one to buy. It feels sturdy and good to touch the leather. This baseball cap sits right above my eyes and covers my beard and mouth, since I wear a size 6 1/2. Perfect as I was looking for it and advise anyone who is seeking that extra safety layer to try it out.

When I was welding and wearing my helmet, it had a hard time staying in place. I had a hard time getting my helmet on top of it because it just didn't fit well. The more it is worn, the more playable it will become.

The occasional welder in my family is my husband. A good deal of protection is provided by the leather on this. The temperature is not too high. The pants are easy to wear. The flexibility that the hood provides him is appealing to.
