Although I used to wear both a face mask and face shield while operating a power hand grinder, I still got spark burns on my neck and face. By wearing this hood, I will stay safe from sparks and keep.
S. The headband is thick and with a moderate amount of Wraps around the collar to cover it 360 degrees. In warm weather, this does not work, but it does work for.
When welding from underneath, I no longer get hot slag down my shirt or in my hair. While it gets hot in the summer, burn scars are not a problem here.
Those shoes were really comfortable, I loved them a lot. The protection I get from sparks and metal dust is very important for me as a welder.
Students in my welding class make fun of the way it looks, but it seems to shield me from harm. The only one in this color to look this good.
The shape is not the same as the picture but works well nonetheless.
The helmet fits perfectly and has just enough thickness to keep me safe from sparks when working with metal I also keep my hair out of the way rather than wearing a half mask or neck guard that will rub against me.
