The hats I purchase for work from Kromer are regular purchases. My recent visits to Kromer were thin and not of the same high quality as my previous visits. They tend to be knockoffs or cheap 2nds.
Definitely a welding hat you'll want to wear. The fit is perfect, and the bill is nice and stiff with just enough flexibility. My personal opinion is that flippy floppy welding hats are ugly. This has been washed two times so far and has held up perfectly. Just be sure to air dry it.
In the winter, the hard bill is like a ball cap. I can't wear it under a hood. This seems to be a well-made product. It does say 'hard Bill' on the side, but in the picture, it looks like a welding cap.
When working, I sweat a lot, so I only have to take the shirt off for a few minutes and allow it to dry or sit in front of a fan for 5 minutes to make it dry.
The building was built cheaply. It's not a good idea to buy You shouldn't waste your time with them. It is worth it to pay a couple more dollars and just get one of the decent ones.
