Questions & Answers
This spray is ready to use right out of the container. It will remain in the "on" position at all times. This one has a "tap" above the spray button, so when you're ready to use it in an emergency, simply place your finger beneath the "tap lever" and on top of the spray mechanism. After you've become acquainted with it, it's simple to use. Please keep in mind that you should test it out in an area outside and away from where anyone or any pets will be for a while; it would be terrible if someone walking their dog came in that area 30-minutes later. After you've tested it for 40 minutes, you should be good to go. Because it looks like "silly string," it sticks to the object for a long time. As with any weapon, practice before using it; it's a good idea to know how to hold, use, and dispose of it. aim. Always try to stay downwind (although I understand that this isn't always possible in an emergency). The types that are similar to silly string, on the other hand, are less likely to spray unintentionally. Before I got this one, I had one that was very cheap. Let me tell you something- When I needed it, it did not work! This one appears to be an excellent choice. When spraying, however, you should try to maintain a steady hand. The advantage of this one is that it should not have any of the "blowback" that some of the cheaper ones do (blowback being unintended spray returning to you or your area). I shook mine before spraying, but it was just a habit of mine. As a result, I don't believe you need to shake it. I keep mine in my bag all the time, and it hasn't leaked yet (which is something that cheap bags frequently do). This is extremely undesirable). This is one of my favorites. It's a little longer and wider than the cheaper ones, measuring about 5" long and 2 1/2" wide.
Yes, though depending on the temperature, it might not be a good idea. In ? In New York State, we store Mk 9s in cars all year, regardless of the season. I'm more concerned in Texas. While the service life of MREs varies depending on storage temperature, I doubt that OCs would degrade before their service life. Most OCs are rated at 1-. We've used out of service, that is, past their service life, for training, some for more than 10 years past their expiration dates, and ZERO of them were ineffective. OC doesn't typically degrade; instead, propellant leaks cause loss of effectiveness.
I have two gel spray cans, each measuring approximately 4 1/2" by 1". The larger one is about 5" in diameter, while the smaller one, which isn't a gel spray, is about 4" by 3/4" in diameter.

Despite the fact that this product claims to be "police strength," only two of the five cops I sprayed with it were knocked out.
" I received a product that was less than a year old and had an expiration date. I contacted the manufacturer and requested one with a THREE-YEAR WARRANTY EXPIRATION DATE, as stated in their ad. They turned down my request for a replacement. Is it possible that I am the one who has been burned?.
This was used once to stop someone who had been in a car accident and then grabbed my wife (they had hit our nephew's parked truck). After a two-second burst, the man turned around and walked away. The cops had no problem escorting him down the road and allowing us to defend ourselves. Sabre red was a great choice. For us, the best result is I hope I never have to deal with a situation like this again, but I would act in the same way. PS I had it in my pocket and took it out as soon as the assault began. When my wife broke free, he was about 7 feet away, and I hit him in the face, he immediately closed his eyes, allowing us to take a step back. Five out of five stars!.
THEREFORE, THERE IS NO SUPPORT FROM THE CUSTOMER. On the tips of the spray nozzles on two of the three cans I ordered, there was a brown gummy substance. The two cans were 5 grams lighter than a regular can without fouling. I sent a detailed email and attached photos to SABRE customer service, but received no response. When you receive this item, inspect it thoroughly. You're putting your entire self-confidence on the line. You don't want to be caught off guard with a pepper spray that isn't working when you really need it.
My dog's life was saved today by this product. During a walk with my dog, he was attacked by a pit bull. I think I sprayed the pit bull with the entire spray can before it finally let go.
Every day, I wear it on my belt, hidden beneath my shirt. If I need to use it, I'm hoping it works. Cold Steel no longer manufactures the brand that I used to carry. It was once necessary for me to make use of it. I was sitting in a park with my laptop and had my pistol on me. "Your legs are disappearing," a stranger said as he began walking towards me with a knife in his hand. I'm going to sever your limbs from your body. " I had a gloomy aura about me. I could have shot him, but instead I pulled out my pepper spray and sprayed him in the face on the left side. Because it was dark and I couldn't see his face clearly, I didn't hit him square in the face, instead glancing off the side. But it worked; he came to a complete stop, knife in hand, and said, "You think that's going to stop me?" before turning around and running, yelling, "Don't follow me!" as he vanished into the night. That night, I'm thankful I had pepper spray on me.
I ordered two for my wife, one to practice with and the other to carry around with her. Advantages: br>br> The trigger mechanism is excellent, as is the safety feature. This one, unlike most other small pepper sprays, does not have a slide safety that tends to move to the fire position after bouncing around in your purse for a while; instead, you insert your finger in the back, the spring loaded cover automatically moves up to make room for your finger, and then you press down on the trigger to spray it. When pressure is applied directly to the top, the spring-loaded cover ensures that it will not fire. To turn it on, you must insert your finger. The gel is an added bonus. The majority of pepper sprays are sprays that can blow into your face if the wind isn't blowing in your favor. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product. The bottle holds less spray than you might think, and after a few practice shots, it was completely empty. I would suggest purchasing two of them- One to make a few practice shots with, and one to carry around with you. If you practice shots with your main bottle, you'll end up with a nearly empty pepper spray canister. EDIT: br>br> It appears that SABRE sells practice bottles, so buying a pair of these just to have a practice bottle might be a better option.
