Questions & Answers
Aggressive dogs should be treated with red pepper spray. I've had to use it on a few dogs, and it's worked well. The majority of them come to a complete halt right away. When using Sabre Red, the typical reaction is for them to flinch and dart back several feet. Some dogs may bark a few more times before giving up and fleeing. The majority of people will paw at their faces - This diverts their focus away from you. The strangest reaction came from a Rottweiler - It halted its aggressive advance and simply began licking its own face, as if it enjoyed it. br>br>So far, I've spent 20 years in law enforcement - Sabre Red is our color of choice. Off duty, I'm the one who carries it. br>br>I'd also suggest checking out Fox Labs 5. If you can find it, 3 pepper spray and Heatwave pepper spray. Heatwave is the hottest of the three, but both are hotter than a Sabre Red.
It contains 22 grams, or about 3/4 ounce, of material.

During a midnight mugging attempt by two thugs, I was able to defend myself. Even though I was nervous, I put my hand in my pocket and the SABRE, readied and withdrew it from my pocket, aimed at the thug in front, and sprayed generously. I aimed for the second and applied the same amount while he was stunned by what had happened, itching and covering his eyes and nose. Both of them had their hands on their faces and were fleeing like scared chickens. SABRE was my friend and bodyguard that night, and he made me feel confident in the face of danger for the first time in my life. Thank you very much! Thank you very much! Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you,.
I put it through its paces in terms of portability, comfort, ease of use, and efficacy. This is what I foundbr>br>Pricebr>At this price, you won't be able to find anything betterbr>br>Comfortbr>This is near weightless on your belt or in your pocket, but the clip does not always hold it well on a beltbr>br>Ease of usebr>The design is very simple. When I walk around with the cap on, however, it occasionally rotates out of its "safe" position. When I went to quickly draw it out, it was sometimes difficult to find the proper orientation of the spray. This was most likely the most serious flaw. br>br>Effectivenessbr>When used in conjunction with some awareness of your surroundings, this will work against unarmed attackers the majority of the time. You can also learn to use the clip to help you orient where the spray is aimed (though this will be difficult for people with arthritis). br>br>Overall, the package's size combined with the spray's strength makes it portable and potentially very effective if you learn how to use it. Being aware of your surroundings can assist you in deciding when it is appropriate to use pepper spray. Under duress, however, maintaining the correct orientation of the spray can can be difficult. The clip is convenient, but it may not be the safest way to carry pepper spray on its own.
Update: Before the 30-day period expired, I contacted Amazon and received a free replacement. I gave it a try and it seems to work fine; hopefully it contains all 35 sprays. br>Thank you, Amazon, for your prompt response. br>I purchased this on August 24, 2020, for my morning walks around the neighborhood. I have to leave just as the sun begins to rise because it will be too hot and humid here in East Tennessee if I wait. br>I decided to put it to the test this morning by spraying it on the road. Nothing came out of it as it spit and spurted! I tried again, and a small amount of reddish oil poured out. It should spray 35 times at a distance of about 10 feet.
I can't trust them stored anywhere they might come into contact because they're so easy to unlock. As you can see in the photo, there's a small black nub that makes contact with the red plastic turning locking tab. To prevent the red tab from rotating, there is no indentation in which that black nub rests. The friction between the nub and the smooth red plastic is all that is causing the problem. I got a refund, so I'll probably just keep these near the front door.
This was purchased for my wife, and I purchased a SABRE RED Compact Pepper Spray with Clip for myself. The injection molded pink clip is a different color, but the product canister is the same black canister with a pink label. br>br>I paid more for pink, for my wife. br>br>The product canister is the same black canister with a pink label. br>br>Because the pink plastic clip is the same size as the black clip for the canister without the label, the label is abraded when the clip is pushed on during production, resulting in an unsightly result. br>br>As a result, I paid more for the product's cosmetics, but it arrived in a distasteful state: In terms of appearance, the dog ugly.
Dogs, burglars, or just my own self-confidence and peace. br>br>There was a muscular dog barking outside my apartment late at night, and I shot some of it from my balcony; the dog started sneezing and bolted; this was about 30 feet away, and it was enough to scare the animal away. After a few spurts, there appeared to be enough left, and the pressure remained constant. This is excellent value for money, and you get a lot of it. Some actually blew near me, causing a tingling sensation in my nose; this stuff is potent!.
This is a good product at a reasonable price; however, you should test it to see how far it can shoot. The issue here is the triggering mechanism. It's far too easy for it to take up arms. I taped it down with a small piece of tape to keep it in place.
I have a 9mm pistol, but I don't want to shoot a dog (especially in front of his house), so I decided to use pepper spray instead. br>I tried spraying the dog one day when it was a little windy, and the result, with a crosswind of three miles per hour, was disastrous. The spray could not reach the dog's face, which was about 6 feet away, at 4 mph. br>This stuff is probably great when there's no wind, but if there's anything other than dead calm or a slight downwind breeze, forget about it.
