I had to use one of these the first day they arrived when a pitbull tried to attack me. It blew a small puff and that was the end of it! I managed to escape the dog unharmed, but because I did not have a police report, the manufacturer (Guard Dog) refused to replace it, despite the fact that it was a NEW out of the box failure and they advertise free replacements for life. I DO NOT RECOMMEND PURCHASING THEIR PRODUCTS!.
) ONE. The tube has run out of contents. Thank goodness I was just putting it to the test and my life wasn't in jeopardy! This product does not meet my expectations, and I will not purchase from this company again. My money was a waste. None of them worked for me.
I was attempting to date this particular girl. She claims she is afraid to go on her walking trail because she has seen a coyote. So I say. I'd like to know where you live. These are what I'm sending her. It was as simple as that! I have a lot of talent. This is fantastic. It nearly saved her life, and she told me a funny story about how she felt compelled to try it. She rubbed her eye because she didn't realize she had some on her finger. It didn't seem to make a difference. She continues to be interested in me.
The item was cracked and broken when it arrived in open packaging. I can't rerun it because of the pepper spray! What a colossal squandering of funds.
It's a two-pack, according to the description. In the mail, I only got one. This company engages in deceptive advertising! I intend to return.
I'm a newcomer to the area. I am a senior citizen who recently fell and fractured my knee while walking my own dog on my street after being charged by a large stray dog. The same dog (still without a leash) charged me two days later, but this time I realized it wasn't a stray, but rather a resident of one of our street's houses. The dog's owner was in the front yard at the time, and she lets her out off leash whenever she wants. I got into a verbal spat with the owner, but she was able to retrieve her dog and bring him inside. I told my other neighbor (who knows everyone on the street) to inform everyone on the street that I will now be carrying pepper spray and will use it if necessary. On my street, the issue has been resolved, but knowing that we are protected is invaluable. The best part is the invisible dye that will show up under a black light, allowing me to PROVE who's dog is causing the issue if necessary. I'm an animal lover who never wants to hurt any animals, so I'm hoping I'll never need to use it.
This is the first pepper spray I've seen with a clip on the back, and it's very convenient to attach to my running belt for quick access. There will be no jiggling. HOWEVER. Its most significant asset is also its most significant flaw. I'm writing this review because the first two I purchased went missing, not on purpose (duh), and not because I made a mistake. The clip is fantastic, and they've designed it so that you can easily retrieve it from whatever you've clipped it to. This also means that if you bend over to pick up dog feces and apply pressure to the bottom, it may come loose without you realizing it. Then, at some unspecified point during your run, it quietly dislodges and vanishes (because I'm not going to retrace my 8-mile run in search of the stinking thing). So. As you can see in the photo, I now have a safety strap that I attach to both the spray and my belt; my belt is stretchy enough that I can still use the spray while it's tethered to my belt; another option would be one of those stretchy/spiral wrist straps for keys. I trust ribbon more than those, which is why I went with it. And I'm comfortable enough with it now to attach my car key to it. I've been on a few runs now and haven't had any problems; perhaps it's because I'm paranoid, or perhaps the weight of my car key keeps it in place. Who knows what will happen. Regardless, they're fantastic, and I'm hoping I'll never need to replace them.
It's not something I'd be interested in purchasing. I'll be back in a couple of hours.
