While walking my dogs, I was attacked by two dogs. I attempted to spay the attacking dog, but the button became stuck and would not work. With my water bottle, I fought off the dogs. Until the lady who owned the place showed up. I got lucky, and I won't be purchasing this spray in the future.

Because my neighborhood is currently experiencing a high level of crime, I purchased this to feel a little safer walking to my car alone at night. I opened my door this morning to find the package, which I opened, placed the pepper spray on my key ring, and walked out the door. As I walked to my car, the pepper spray broke off the ring, fell, cracked open, and the spray nozzle broke off, completely removing the canister from the case. These photos were taken after I attempted to reassemble it, which was futile because the spray nozzle was no longer present. I came here hoping to get a refund or replacement, but it appears that's not possible? In the morning, I'll contact Amazon. This is completely absurd!.

Product is a sham, and the description is false. Not as strong as if half the pepper was used. There is no way to return it because Amazon will not accept it. It only travels about ten feet.

It's very handy and a good size. It comes with a key ring, but I didn't use it because it was unnecessary. It also includes a pocket clip, which I use to secure it in my jersey pocket. I gave it a 4 for ease of use because the trigger slides to the side in the lock position, making it difficult to shoot if you're in a hurry. It worked fine the first time I used it, but I wish it had a little more power and range. It claims to be able to reach a height of 16 feet, but I'd say it was closer to 10 to 12 feet. I gave it a 4 overall because of the lack of distance.

I go for a walk every day in my neighborhood and am frequently approached by a dog that is allowed to run free. Because I am an animal lover who does not want to hurt him, I spray a stream of water over his head if he approaches. It dissipates and he only gets a whiff of it. All I have to do after the second time is show it to him, and he will sit and let me pass.

I noticed fluid drops around the nozzle after an initial test discharge, which was one of three that we purchased. This slid down to the counter where I was standing with ease. I can see how this could get on your hands and, as a result, your face, including your eyes. This puts the user in too much danger. Because you can't return these items, I tossed all three of them. These Guard Dogs were a lot messier to use than the Saber product we were replacing.

I haven't had to use this pepper spray yet, but there are two concerns I have about it. The safety lock, for starters, disengages by itself. Second, it didn't come with a carrying case to prevent this, so I'll have to either find one or buy another pepper spray that does. I'd hate for it to go off inside or outside my purse!.

I haven't had the opportunity to use it yet (which is a good thing!). ) However, the instructions on the back of the card could be a little clearer as to which position is 'locked. ' 'It's intuitive, but it takes a little getting used to, especially since you want to be cautious. ' The spray mechanism's color description does not match the actual item, which made it a little confusing at first, and the 'locked' position doesn't feel very secure. After an attempted break-in, I'm storing it in my bedside table, but I'd like to get a small box to keep it in so it doesn't accidentally spray when I put something in the drawer.
