The aluminum band is made of 6061-T6 billet and is excellent and durable. A purely anodized aluminum design instead of a cloth that can be easily torn apart. One to ten pounds can be supported.

As well as working as a fire extinguisher holder, it also works nicely as a water bottle holder. There are 2 mounting clamps 78-101mm included to secure the fire extinguisher or water bottle and 2 mounting clamps 65-89mm to secure the roll bar to the mount. Two extra mounting clamps 40-70mm and two additional mounting clamps 80-120mm are included for spare use)

Can this hold up to a fire extinguisher weighing 5 lbs? My polaris rzr xp4 turbo is missing the mount for this. ?

In short, yes. My CanAm, Tractor, and Jeep all have all been fitted with one of these to mount a 5 lb fire extinguisher. The product works great and looks great.

If I use larger hose clamps, will this mount work with a household extinguisher weighing 10 pounds?

So I mounted it on my UTV and yes, I did that.

It is possible to install this mount as an alternative to clamps around a roll bar on a flat surface using screws or bolts. ?

The answer is yes, there is a pre-requisite and a full-requisite A hole was drilled in the top and bottom of the bracket for the flat-bottomed bracket There are head bolts or screws that can be used instead of the pipe clamps (not included).

In a nutshell, It rattles too much and has cheap hose clamps that fall apart even when repositioned.

A sufficient number of brackets are included in the package so that you can install it and the extinguisher wherever is needed. You can use the quick release in the event of a fire. The fact that they send multiple size brackets means you can pretty much choose whatever extinguisher suits your needs. In comparison to other acupuncture treatments I've had, this is by far the best!.

Ours worked great at mounting to our Polaris RZR and there is no rattle. The clamps it comes with are nice and it comes with a wide variety of sizes to fit your needs.

The movie is well worth the money

I found the installation to be very simple. My Polaris RAZR is mounted with it. In spite of how expensive these machines are, I wanted something that could carry my fire extinguisher on rough terrain and remove the fire extinguisher quickly, in case my RAZR caught fire. I remove the fire extinguisher within a second.

I am very pleased with the product. This pull pin release is made of aluminum and works well. The price was well worth it. For many much more money, this is much better-made than many you will find on UTV sites. It has been a pleasure working with.

This is above and beyond the expectations I had

My four purchases so far are all from this company. These kits are a fraction of the cost of UTV extinguisher kits. Basically, I buy these and a small pair of extinguishers from SAMS or Costco. A per-unit cost of $25 compared to a per-unit cost of I have rolled on three occasions in an UTV and they have held on each time.

In one of my off-road vehicles, I installed this fire extinguisher mount that is awesome and quick to remove. The clamps on the unit are not very good, but the unit is very well built.
