Kidde 366242 Vehicle Brackets, Metal, Running Board Bracket For 10 Lb Proline Fire Extinguishers Units

The bracket arrived in excellent condition and was very sturdy. If the bracket pictured and the country of manufacture were accurate in the listing, this would be rated as a 5 Star item. It is rated for, and fits on my Kidde 10 lb. walker. It looks like the extinguisher came with their p/n 368064 (that is listed as being rated for 5 lbs. I received a unit that had the extinguisher diameter adjustment bolt on the left. (large bolt, havey securing band, clamp retaining pin (yes, that will fall out if not mounted vertically, or maybe give a slight bend to There is a clear statement in the description (above the specifications) that this product is manufactured in the United States. I'm not understanding why the box, with the 366242 p/n states "Made In P. ". What is "C"? *I can see that the product I received is listed on Amazon as Kidde p/n 368064, but it is stated to be for a 5 lb bag. There seems to have been a mix-up in the listings. Whatever the case might be, what I received is very heavy duty, adjustable, and can fit my ten pound dog. There are four rubber 'bumpers' on the extinguisher to cushion it, and it is in pristine condition.

Number 266242 is the bracket assembly I am using for this On the left is a picture that is not the bracket I have. I bought my kiddie pro 340 (I think that's what it's called) with a 14" circumference to use it with since it has rubber on the bottom and back. I found that it was too large for my fire extinguisher at first. You could adjust the bolt on the left side so that if you moved the two nuts to the outside and tightened it all the way it fitted My favorite bracket is this one. Please read the following notes This bracket is available in a version that can hold 5 pounds. I probably should have bought it instead, but I It was great being able to complete this one. Please note By mounting the bracket on the back of the bracket, the locking pin will fall out because it is mounted from the top. To mount this bracket, I used some 3/8" x 1" stainless steel screws and washers, plus locking nuts (the kind that will not lose their grip, not nylon) to fill the large screw holes in the back.

The item arrived, was fine and the extinguisher fits as it should, but the bracket had been scratched and some sort of black paint was used to cover I think this is okay, but the scratched area has begun to rust and the paint has begun to come As another addition, the main hasp is painted, but regular use has started cutting into the paint and making rust As a final note, the pin is retained by gravity but not through Although I have the pin in place even during a short trip in the vehicle, it will not stay in place because the bracket is horizontal.

This is a solid piece of work. It was a much better experience than I anticipated. There is a very nice design to this extinguisher that keeps it tight and secure, yet is simple to open and close. Mobile friendly. Excellent for using on the go. A welding truck with it is my daily driver. Another one for a second unit is probably on its way. This powder coating is extremely tough and thick. All mounting holes are pre-drilled so they can be used in virtually any situation. I really like the way you phrased that!.
