The weight this can hold is how much? It can't hold a 2 1/2 gallon tank, right?

When permanently mounting the bracket, I believe it would be able to handle the weight. It would not be possible to attach the hose clamps surrounding the tank with the ones that are included.

Velcro holders are not as good as this one! This fire extinguisher holder is made very well and is very sturdy

Trying to take out the extinguisher using velcro straps during an emergency is not something I want to deal with. When the read knob is pulled, the extinguisher can be pulled off the hinged mount so that it can be removed. My experience with this product so far has been pretty good, it does not move or rattle around, and installation is very straightforward. I am a retired FD Captain, so I know what I am looking for. The velcro type holder made me nervous so I chose this rather than getting a velcro type instead.

It's nice that you have it available so quickly. I found it a little challenging to put my book back together. It may be necessary to remove a very minor difference. Although it has a hook design that anchors it and makes it very sturdy, it might hang up a bit when being removed.

I love this bracket! It is very high quality! Whenever an extinguisher needs to be removed, I am able to do so quickly. It is no secret that I have heard of tractors catching fire and not having a fire extinguisher on board. If you don't act, you'll either be left with no choice but to stand back and watch or run for your life. Bracket is a little pricey, but worth the coverage. My highest recommendation for this product is to buy it.
