Questions & Answers

What do you think about using this on a polished stainless steel tube that supports my boat's As I watch the mount rest on the mount, I am concerned it will slide down the tube. ?

As I drive over bumps on my RZR 900, this keeps me going through dunes and deserts. There are no movements or rotations when this object is held. While my roll cage is not stainless steel, I do not notice any scratches or blemishes as a result of it.

Is it compatible with a roll cage that measures 2 inches?

A 2" cage should fit it since it is adjustable

Could you let me know if this will fit on a Jeep JL The 2" rollbar on this trailer is much larger than the standard type. Please accept my sincere thanks! ?

My 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL has the JL rollbar, so yes, it works

What if I needed a roll bar that would hold a 7 lb fire extinguisher?

I will never let you down. It will be held securely with this.

Fit is a little weird
4/5

The item I purchased is for my JLU 2018 Wrangler. There are no defects in the webbing or stitching. As far as placement of the strap is concerned, I had trouble figuring it out. I tried several times before getting it right. A minute before I was going to give up and ask for a refund, I had an "a-ha" moment That moment when you realize something. A fire extinguisher is attached to the short straps. Having long ones on the roll bar would be ideal. Here, there are two possible options Wrapping the roll bar around one direction is the only way it will go. In addition, I added a thin strip of foam rubber to the backside of the harness in order to snug it to the roll bar and prevent it from moving or Now everything seems to be fine.

Since I have heard Bartact is of good quality, this may be the only thing I would
5/5

It is constructed well and is very Bartact is a good label, so this might be the only thing I can afford with their name on it. Although they are typically at the top end of the price scale, this was a very reasonable price. There is an additional strap on the bottom to hold the base of the extinguisher. This is very adjustable. In the meantime, I will see how it holds up to direct UV exposure as I am keeping the top and sleeves off all summer long. When it turns brittle, I'll report back
which I don't think will be an issue. The price was well worth it.

Despite the fact they are not fire extinguishers, they are amazing quality! It is my great shame to admit that I do not use these for what they are intended for
5/5

It would be good if it worked. In the case of XB41) they have no way to mount or secure them - no loop for a leash, no handle, no 1/4-inch mounting flange There are 20 mounting holes, but nothing has been mounted. I feel frustrated by this because this is supposed to be a waterproof speaker. Once, I was almost going to have a seamstress make a sleeve for them similar to what these are, but then I saw one of these on a Jeep in traffic. and took a picture of him with my phone after getting close enough to get a picture. Following the confirmation that a 2 is the correct size, you can proceed. Since the 5lbs extinguisher is almost the same size as my speakers (only about 1in difference in size), I decided to buy two of them for my spare room. The fact that these seem to be so rugged and durable thrills me!.

You will not find a better product than this
5/5

I found it to be perfect for my purposes. The Jeep JKU I own is a 2006 model. I'm very pleased with the padded roll bar fire extinguisher holder I purchased from Bartach. Velcro and stitching are of high quality as is the fit and the material. The First Alert 1038789 fire extinguisher is perfect for the job. There is a dimension of the extinguisher on the website when you pull up its page. The clothing can't be too big or too small, and anything bigger or smaller won't work as well. First Alert is my favorite over Kidde, I should add. Compared to the previous decade, quality has been significantly improved. Due to my intentions of installing it on a slanted back roll bar, I was concerned that the holder would rotate on the padded roll bar and possibly hit the side window while 4-wheeling. There is no reason to be concerned. Despite being rock solid, the attachment on the roll bar is exceptionally durable. In order to release the extinguisher, pull the Velcro tabs to the right or to the To release the extinguisher, I mounted on the left side rear, which is a little cumbersome versus mounting on the right side. In my opinion, the left hand side is better for access than the right side, since I can access JKU tailgate from left to right. The first time I have used a Bartact product but it will not be the last. Oh yes, it is made in the United States.

The mounting is of a high quality, but the execution is poor
3/5

Just like my Jeep handles, which I bought from Bartact, this handle is well built. However, there's no further explanation for that. I cannot even attach the Velcro when I wrap it around the fire extinguisher or any of the roll bars due to the strap being so long. This problem has occurred before to me in an older Jeep using a different brand of paracord handle. I'm hoping this one will resolve the issue since I'm familiar with their designs. I haven't decided if I'm going to keep trying to get it to fit properly or try to return it. The price is not too high, so I've decided not to spend too much time playing with it. If I manage to tweak it to improve the performance I'll post an updated.

The 2018 JL was the perfect fit for me
5/5

I am stunned. Metal rings and straps are attached to high quality velcro, making this item very sturdy. The impression is very good. An extinguisher of 4 pounds and a 4 lb marine extinguisher fit perfectly here. This is what a 2018 JL looks like.

I feel that this would be a better product if it had The extinguisher weighs five pounds
4/5

I mounted this on my 97 Jeep TJ. It's a good product. The extinguisher I am using is a 5 lb one. The strap of this backpack fits with the larger straps but is specifically made for a size The extinguisher weighs five pounds. In the bottom portion of the extinguisher is a webbed strap with a loop that is designed to go under the bottom in order to create a pocket to hold it inside, and the bottom strap is designed to slip through the loop to hold it in place. The hose isn't long enough for me to use it with my 5 lb extinguisher (I have a First Alert extinguisher It is important to tie the extinguisher first into the holder before attaching it to your roll bar, as it is not straight. I had to use the large straps around the extinguisher and my padded roll bar has short straps that fit just fine. After mounting it horizontally, it did not appear to be snug enough to keep it from banging against the window, so I mounted it vertically instead.

Thus far, they have proved to be reliable and durable
5/5

It is both attractive and efficient. It will take care of the job in a neat and organized way. This is acceptable to me. The strap is rigid and full of strength, with no flex, so it is the perfect strap for your fire extinguisher. With this product, Bartact came up with a real winner. In addition, it is highly adjustable so that it can fit any size extinguisher suitable for a Jeep Wrangler roll bar and can be made as tight as possible without ripping the straps. It has been told to me that the high pressure in a canister in the vehicle during the hot months could cause a projectile that could be dangerous. As part of the package I bought this extinguisher with these straps was a wall mount and metal bracket strap to which I strung the straps through. Even if I pull it as hard as I want, it won't move. If you own any type of vehicle, I would recommend this product- The placement of extinguishers is for safety reasons. Having not yet had the pleasure of looking around to see how well it will hold up in the sun to see if it fades or degrades in Look forward to seeing you later.
